Because it parses the word "a.ss" followed by a period as a word seprate from "a.ss" all by itself. Well, that's the way filters usually work anyway. This one's seemed to have taken even words beginning with the letters "a" "s" "s" as the word by itself so this post is probably going to make me look like an even bigger idiot than I usually do. :/
