so today I went to a salon because someone gave me a gift certificate to one. Since I was actually sort of paying for a haircut I figured they better CUT it. yeah so here it is


I think it's a grown up haircut


This annoys me (the in the eye thing). I already have a bobby pin holding it back because it's driving me insane


This picture scares me because I look a frighteningly lot like one of my sisters in it.

Yeah so anyway, I guess I'll see how dumb this looks when it's in the natural curly state :/

Eh, you probably are. How did Rog feel when he got his woman golfer 'do. It's really wierd how self-conscious we get when we get our hair cut significantly. You'd think we just got our genitals removed.

I think once you spend a few days with it, and stop playing with your phantom hair (I dunno if you do, considering its length. I did all the time once I took it down).

But it does look very good. Nothing wrong with it at all.

I have a 50/50 chance of going gray before I'm 30. My mother's side of the family ALL went gray before they were thirty, but everyone on my dad's side didn't go gray until they were about 45 or 50. I'm not too worried about graying. At least it's not as bad as going bald, and there is no history of baldness in my family.

At least I can always use just for men ;)

I've been thinking about dying my hair grey. If I continue growing out my hair, I'm sure it would look interesting when the roots are longer than the grey portion. Especially if I get dreads. :conspiracy

I worry about early baldness just a little. Most of the (bald) men in my family are well around 50, but I have a nephew who's just over 30 and his hair already covers less than half his skull. I also have immensely deep wedges in my hairline, which make me look almost like Hugo Weaving if I comb it backwards.

Doopa and Rog should breed children with lovely midnight black hair and creamy pale skin. :love
If I may ask, what are your ethnic backgrounds? Most white people I've seen usually don't have hair that is really black like that, just dark brown. Are either of you part Amerindian?

If we had kids, due to our own lack of pigment, I think they would be transparent.

Our hair isn't quite jet black (blue-black) like you're thinking, but it is pretty damned dark. But no, neither of us are Amerindian. I have Scottish/Irish/Italian/Belgian roots, and she has Irish/Ukranian roots.
