Gore Fest.

I posted this script pitch earlier today at http://www.leesmovieinfo.com/ Teir accepting pitches from June 1st to June 15th. You can view (and vote) this pitch and others on the 16th.

The year is 2666. A cargo ship has just found a mysterious item on the surface of Jupiter, and is heading back to Earth when they recieve a distress beacon. It's from a prisoner transport, on it's way to Uranus to dropoff a new shipment of immates. The crew discusses about what to do and since they are only about ten minutes away, decide to go check it out. Once there the transport turns out to have been attacked and in critical condition. They board the ship and discover almost everybody dead. The only survivors are four guards and three prisoners. After a brief struggle with the toughest of the prisoners, they take the survivors with them onto their ship. And then...all hell breaks lose.

The same prisoner escapes his new holding cell and is set free to roam the ship. He tries to find some weapons but doesn't have much time, as the guards soon start chasing after him. He managers to lose them but quickly regrets it. Suddenly the guards hear him scream and take chase again. They find him dead, appearing to be some strange accident. But it's no accident. Something or someone is hunting the crew and it's new passangers one by one. Each death becoming more twisted and gory after the previous one. Soon the ship loses main power and only a few people are left (pilot, guard, prisoner, medic) to fight off whatever it is killing the crew.

What I'm trying to do here is pitch a successful horror movie in space. I have Desmond Harrington (Ghost Ship, Wrong Turn) in mind to play either the surviving pilot or prisoner, trying to fight off the thing on board the ship. Other than that, I don't really have any ideas for casting. The crew for the cargo ship will be eight to ten people and, after the survivors from the transport board it, it range from fifthteen to seventeen people. And it will be R for language, disturbing images, and extreme gore.

Damn.....well...maybe I get a D- on it, when voting begins on the 16th. Though...it is a ''slight'' improvement on my other writings.
