Baby girl middle name ideas

When we finally agreed on a first name for our daughter it ended up being immensely popular(Sophia) which is bad times.

I'm trying to go with a little bit of a different middle name because of this.

So far in the round up for middle names are"

Grace
Claire
Addison
Cadence(which we both really like but I just remembered Caden is my friend bob's sons name)
Starscream
Shamrock
Shamantha
Danger

DICK.

Or Starscream. Shamantha? What?

Anyway, these are middle names and don't matter that much, so go with Cadence.

Some of these are names I thought of, not ones that she agreed on.

I like Marguerite too.

Kyrie I like but not her. She liked Kylee but I don't.

Saiorse. (Sair-sha or Seer-sha) If I'd had another daughter, I totally would have named her that. As it was, I went through the entire list of 6 names I'd planned to use :/

You could also have a name as a half-middle name, like in France. People used to have to choose off a list of state-approved names for their kids, no deviation allowed. So people would tack on a hyphenated name to the first name so there would be a little more originality. So instead of there being 25 Maries in a kid's class, there'd be like 12 Marie-Christines, 5 Marie-Claudes, 3 Marie-Bernadettes, 2 Marie-Sophies (Sophie as a middle name is almost universally shortened to "So", as in "Marie-So" or "Ma-so"), a Marie-Charlotte or two, and a Marie-Claire.

My kids were all hyphen-named but that raises eyebrows on this side of the pond so I only actually used first names.

When I was a kid I thought Etienne was a beautiful name and named a doll that before some snickering adult told me it meant Steve :(

Hey dad, don't forget to make sure she has a good stripper name. Name her first pet with something that rhymes with her first street address.

you should make her middle name "3rd", then she'd be named after the tank in blaster master

If it were a boy I was going to name him Twoendee William Thompson so he'd be the 2nd Bill Thompson.

maybe grounded is a good middle name.

The best middle name for either gender is danger.

"Danger's my middle name, baby."
