I like the older Blockbuster one where this lady is asking herself what kind of movie she is in the mood for, and it shows examples of them. It eventually gets to the point where you see these African hunters going after a boar for a documentary. Then the youngest hunter gets pissed at the older hunter, who is his father, and that is for a coming of age film. Then, for the best part, as an example of a family film, the boar asks the father if he wants him to go talk to his son (sounds exactly like Babe), and the dad screams. I love it :lol

Best commercial ever? "Where's the Beef?"

Well since we're not counting the Japanese commercials, I'd have to say that one of my favorites was for Outpost.com They had a great, twisted advertising campaign going. Their first one was where they fired a gerbil from a cannon through the "O" in their company name. The second one, they released a pack of ravenous wolves on a high school marching band.



I really loved these commercials, and the old announcer guy in them ruled. I couldn't find the wolves one, but here's the Gerbil Cannon one. You're better off right-clicking to save it to your computer, cuz it's about 10 megs in size and doesn't stream very well.

The trix cereal commercial that ends up being a got milk commercial. :(

There was a tuna commerical where some bear catches a tuna, and some guy comes along, and the bear and the guy martial arts the fvck out of each other, but the guy wins.

One of more recent commercials I actually really like, it's for one of those phone picture things where you can take pictures and send them with your cell phone or whatever. There's one where this woman takes a picture of a guy at a dinner, who is totally pigging out and being a slob, food all over his face etc. She sends it to her friend saying "What do you think of you're new boyfriend?" The woman recieves the photo and the message from her friend, turns to the person next to her, "I do love him."

It's just so great the dramatic way the woman says the line, and how it's just the complete opposite of what you'd expect.

a recent favorite of mine are the viagra commercials where a guy walks into his office and everybody's like: "did you get a new haircut/suit," or "have you been working out/eating different"... it's like everyone call tell that there is something different about him, it just hasn't registered that it's his raging boner.

The other one that is among my favorites of all time was actually more of a domestic abuse p.s.a. These two little kids are playing house, and the little boy's performance is AMAZING. Way better than Haley Osment or J. Lipnicki or even J.T.T. in his prime. The delivery of lines such as, "What is this? I can't eat this!" which are followed with him knocking the plastic place settings off the table are so dead-on, that it is at the same time chilling and hilarious.

But which one? The Zelda Rap? The one with the crazy guy going "P-p-p-peahats!"?

I love the PSAs about weed; The one where the black dudes hit a little girl on a bike and the one where the kid shoots his friend in the face.

I also love this chewing gum commercial that's on now where people keep stealing the gum from one another in the office and hiding. One dude's wearing an outside suit and bursts through the window to get it, and another guy's hiding in a water cooler.

And I still hate Truth.com commercials with a passion.

The only American comercials I have seen are:

An Oreo ad where this little shit of a child says "first you lick it, then you twist it..." I hate that ad.

The other one has some guy with a big white thing on his head and he is selling hamburgers or something and he busts into this guys house and he chases him out back and beats the shit out of him. I love that ad.

I thought so too. That commercial was great.
Also, I think there was a worst commercial thread at one time or another...

There was a commercial that showed a mattress moving up and down, and you heard grunts in unison with it, so you think that someone is having sex on it. Then you see some guy jumping up and down on the mattress, sneaker in hand, trying to swat a spider on the celieing, and grunting in frustration. I know it doesn't sound like much, but it was so well directed that it made me laugh.

i hate 99.9% percent of all ads, especially diet coke and coca-cola ads.
