:love me some DHY

I wanted to get the Yohko Tattoo a number of years ago but I ended up getting a girlfriend instead who thought it was a dumb idea. :(

Devil Hunter Yohko, Slayers, and Evangelion are the reasons I'm such a fan of anime. Good stuff.

Just watched Riki-Oh. One of my favorite go-to movies when I want to relax and have a laugh. :)

10,000 Volt Ghost Jan 19th, 2010 01:42 AM

Love me some Slayers too.. Just another reason why the 90's were so much better.

THE BIG LEBOWSKI

maybe if i hadn't been so sleep deprived i would've liked it more, idk. i'll try watching it again next week or something

Tadao Jan 19th, 2010 11:14 AM

:lol you haven't seen that till now? IDK, I think too much time has passed for it to be as funny as it originally was.

Dimnos Jan 19th, 2010 11:38 AM

Its almost timeless.

Pentegarn Jan 19th, 2010 12:24 PM

The problem is on the interwebz the hype for Big Lebowski is through the roof, if you haven't seen it and you frequent the intarnetz, the movie can't possibly live up to all the hype you have been exposed to

It's one of those things that has been ruined by idiot fans who spout the lines all the time. Sort of like Chappelle's Show.

Freddy vs. Jason. Good fun, but I didn't like it that they made Jason a sympathetic character.

Love that movie.

"Fire the torpedos!"

Dumb and Dumber, Next Friday, Club Dread, Youth in Revolt, The Simpsons Movie

10,000 Volt Ghost Jan 22nd, 2010 03:35 PM

You have to watch Dumb and Dumberer Ant. It's not the best movie but its actually kind of funny. It's not comparable whatsoever to Dumb and Dumber though.

Ant10708 Jan 22nd, 2010 03:46 PM

I've stayed away from that sequel out of fear but I might check it out now that I restarted netflix.

Anyone know the name of this horror movie with like two preppy white kids who end up going to a house and fucking with the family and eventually killing them? I think it was originally a foreign film but I saw the american version on tv the other night. it was okay. The part I liked the most was just how odd the two kids acted initially and how they seemed unable to catch any hints to leave.

10,000 Volt Ghost Jan 22nd, 2010 03:48 PM

Strangers?

Grislygus Jan 22nd, 2010 05:37 PM

oh for god's sake people, it's Funny Games, both versions

The Leader Jan 22nd, 2010 06:11 PM

Tron

Just saw Sherlock Holmes. I really liked it, though I wasn't really satisfied with how they explained the stopped pulse after the hanging. Still, the fight scenes were really cool, and I'm finding myself over-analyzing every little thing now :lol

Can't wait for the sequel. My only real complaint is when Holmes literally dodges a bullet in one scene, and in another, Watson gets his shit wrecked during one incident and is up and walking the next day. Other than that, great stuff.

Pentegarn Jan 22nd, 2010 11:50 PM

Saw Book of Eli. The pacing is a bit odd, but there are some pretty cool scenes filled with ass kickery. Overall, bot a waste of time. Plus Mila Kunis, who is always easy on the eyes.

WhiteRat Jan 23rd, 2010 12:22 AM

Watched Yes Man the other day and surprisingly it was pretty good, even if it did seem like a semi-sequel to Liar Liar.

Pentegarn Jan 23rd, 2010 12:25 AM

You should read the book, it is an amazing read
