HickMan Jan 12th, 2005 04:41 PM

When did you take it, Schimid?

Schimid Jan 12th, 2005 05:08 PM

Uh, today. :(

I took it in a huge SUV, 'cause my normal car got rear-ended and the brake lights're out. We didn't have time to practice before the test, so I messed up on the parallel parking. I was up on the curb and didn't even notice it.

The car was a Jeep Grand Cherokee, automatic, and I usually use my mom's old white sedan. Big diff'rence.

I'm not making excuses, though, as I probably would've failed anyway. I'm re-taking on Thursday. :(

thebiggameover Jan 12th, 2005 05:24 PM

in arizona, they make you wait 30 days to take the test again if you fail...
:(

Wipe your nose.

ScruU2wice Jan 12th, 2005 06:57 PM

Why do you have to parallel park, they never tested me on it and I never really use it :(

Anonymous Jan 12th, 2005 07:03 PM

They have cars in India?

Ninjavenom Jan 12th, 2005 07:41 PM

I failed right away because of the parallel parking tthe first time, but the second time i whipped the shit out of that test.

AChimp Jan 12th, 2005 10:57 PM

In Manitoba you're allowed 2 attempts at the parallel parking (no one ever parallel parks, though).

I had a perfect score on my driving test. :picklehat

I feel old now. :(

In VA you dont take a test at the DMV except for your permit.

You just get your permit then go to "driving school" where a fat drunk dude tells you to copy verbatim from a small book on driving while discretely chewing tabacco. Then you drive aimlessly stopping ocassionally at gas stations for food and shit, make two posters on drunk driving or agressive driving, and take a "comprehensive exam" which he drunkenly gives you a 100 on without checking.

I've been in 3 accidents, one of which costed in excess of $1500 and I passed "driving school" 10 months ago. I don't understand most traffic laws and I'm known to make frequent illegal turns.

The driving instructor that I had guided me through the parallel parking. That would probably explain why I can't parallel park worth shiite to this day.

DeadKennedys Jan 13th, 2005 09:40 AM

I had the same experience as Bubba, without the posters :lol

So far I've run off the road in an ice storm

while wearing boots hurriedly to an orchestra concert fumbled for
the brake and hit the gas and also another guy's door (which he wouldn't quit whining about omG)

totaled that car later (nissan altima)

while it was dead got caught on black ice in my dad's truck and hit another lady for $10 bucks of damage (who turned out to be my insurance agent OOPS)

Been hit buy some crazy guy downtown

Had my car die twice, one time yesterday

I got no luck! :)

Chimp, if you think thats slack, did you know you don't even need to graduate high school to get accepted at U of M?

Matt Harty Jan 13th, 2005 05:14 PM

I slammed my belt in the car door. Now every once in awhile my car makes the sound like my door is open even though it isn't. And instead of showing my mileage it says "Door" :(
