TNA Impact! The Best Wrestling game you will ever play with under 20 wrestling moves!

Good God, i didnt think it was possible, But the game really does have under 20 wrestling moves. And even then, most of those have to be unlocked.

Better than WWF Royal Rumble for Dreamcast???? That game had under 10 moves and it was fun.

Jeff The Ninja Sep 18th, 2008 07:09 PM

never played Royal Rumble except at the arcade, and i thought that there were more moves there than there are here.

I really Love how all of the CAW finishers are exactly the same

Mike Tenay- "Its the Cradle Shock!"

Don West- "He aint getting up from that Cradle Shock!"

Mike Tenay- "I cant belive it, Hes gotten back up!"

Its pretty Much that, every match.

Oh, and no Scorpion Death Lock (Sting's Finisher) Ankle Lock (Kurt Angle's Submission Finisher) and no Rear Naked Choke/Kahina Clutch (Samoa Joes Submission). Also, forget superplexes and anyother Top Rope Maneuvers. I mean, they put in the ability to springboard off the ropes, but you cant toss your opponent off the top rope. This game seriously feels like it was half finished. That Someone at midway just said, "Hey look, i can throw a punch, the game is finished" and snuck it out the door before anyone could notice the finished copy sitting on the desk.

hahaha, I didn't know it was made by Midway. Do they become engulfed in "Fire" when they have a special move ready?

are there divas in this

Jeff The Ninja Sep 19th, 2008 12:09 PM

No, there are no Diva's (Or Knockouts as TNA calls them), but when you get powered up, your life bar bursts into flames.

I love how the plot's about a mexican man named SUICIDE who has this amazing finisher and is beaten to an inch of his life. He gets amnesia whilst remembering all of this, and is created by the player. The player can make him any color he wants, never mind the fact he's already a mexican dude who is full aware of his past despite amnesia.

Is there any surprise this would flop? It's TNA for chrissakes. The "best wrestling company in the world" whose "six-sided ring is adapted by everyone".

Isn't that the plot of Knights of the old republic? I haven't played that either but it sounds the same.

Yeah, i love how i turned a mexican wrestler named suicide into Bill Dauterive. My older bro made Hard Gay and the resulting matchup was strange to say the least.

I absolutely hated this game. I think the main reason for that is how much I was expecting so much more.

Who plays wrestling games?

pac-man Sep 21st, 2008 03:05 PM

I'm guessing that Jeff the Ninja does.

I rented this over the weekend for my son. He played for 20 minutes and was bored.
