The Catcher In The Rye
Read it!
What if I already have & found it to be overly predictable & extremely lame? >:
then I guess Salinger is just a big faker, eh Pub?
Predictable in what sense? :/
Ugh
No thank you.
I've already had that book shoved down my throat by my english teacher. Did not taste good. |
This is the book that basically killed John Lennon :|
In other words, fuck you >: |
Your opinion doesn't count Rongi because no one likes you.
I'd rather have that book shoved down my throat ten times than ever have to read "The Scarlet Letter" again.
Personally this is one of my favourites reads. Have a few copies of it here in the house. Like the ones with the red covers the most. I don't know about predictable. Some books, like American Gods, I try to figure out as I read them and become disappointed when its too easy, but it wasn't like that with this particular one.
Oddly enough, this is the only book I like by J.D. |
the scarlet letter was horrible, i have never forgiven my english teacher for making me read that piece of shit.
the interior of a heart. :(

No no, you got it all mixed up. Your opinion doesn't count because it sucks, and no one likes you :). |
Shut up, all of you, because I loved this fucking book. >:
Catcher is one book I can read over and over and can never get tired of. The same goes with Junky by William S. Burroughs, Rage (now "banned"-I found it on kazaa)by Stephen King, and Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption and Skeleton Crew also by SK.
burroughs is a hack. >:
i liked salinger's short stories better than catcher. |
