Hellboy

One of the best comic book movies I've ever seen. Definitely in my top 5, quite likely in my top three, only behind Spider-man and Batman.

Everyone needs to see this movie.

:love Ron Perlman :love

It is indeed one of the best translations of a comic book to film. My only complaint is that the villains were one-dimensional, unlike their 4-colour counterparts. I wished they'd kept the urbane menace of the comic book Kroenen. Otherwise, a fine film.

I was going to go see the movie today, but the plan never fell into place. Instead, I watched the skater kids fall for a few hours. I think I made the better choice in the end.

I'll be seeing this next week sometime. :)

It was about as good as I expected it to be. Very entertaining.

I would have seen this tonight, but moviefone.com listed it at 7:40.

It started at 7:00.

I'll bet you were really just mugging for your webcam and lost track of the time :(

:lol

Shit. You're so right. :(

I compensated for the loss of a movie night with a humongous steak and cheese sub, though, so enduring the mall wasn't a total loss.

>_< DAMMIT PROTO!

I liked this movie.......a lot.

But on the one hand I wish they had just made a new story for him, because there was so much DIFFERENT ADDITIONS that aren't in the comic, that it honestly felt weird when I watched it.

so 5 STARS for the FILM, 1 STAR for COMIC CANON lol.

It was pretty good, but I thought the last battle went by too quickly. The mechanical Nazi guy was cool.

Ron Perlman did a really good job as Hellboy, too. :love

Not as good as Spider-Man or X-Men, though.

I thought hellboy was pretty good, but very damn cheesy. Ron Pearlman was great and the makeup was fantastic
