i end up with sore muscles all the time because i'm eating at an extreme caloric deficit (800-1000 kcal/day) and I still train like Sagat

so i regularly get my choke broke

i also dropped by body fat by almost 10% over 7 weeks, so i'm doing something right

you must have cool self controll. I cant resist snacks all the time. Nothing like anon to get you into shape huh

LordSappington Sep 11th, 2009 07:41 PM

I'm the kind of person who snacks a little through the day, then 'Eat like a bird' at meals, according to my friend. I haven't heard that phrase in God knows how long until she brought it up.

I have no idea what calories or how much fat I might have...I have to walk for my work and I lose 10 to 15 pounds by mid summer. Having an asian wife I eat lots of rice/pasta and snack during the day so I'm burning off what I eat fairly quick. what does getting your choke broke mean?

Well, i'm on a PSMF (protein-sparing-modified-fast - basically atkins minus the heart failure) and I dose up on ephedra and fish oil so I usually don't even get hungry. Most of my calories are in the early morning and it's tough to choke all of it down sometimes :<

getting your choke broke is breaking your neck, but i was being all metaphorical and shit

here's a way to benchmark your body fat %:

Get your weight and a gut measurement (widest area under bellybutton).

1. Calculate LBM (lean body mass; the weight of your bones, muscle, water, tissues other than fat) by this formula:
(Weight * 1.082) + 94.42 - (Waist * 4.15)

2. Calculate body fat:
Weight - LBM

3. Calculate body fat %:
Fat / Weight

MajorScales Sep 11th, 2009 08:21 PM

I got's a little belly...its normal. Like Seth you think too much about shit that don't matter.

I'm not trying to be a jerk...I really have never taken the time to do the math when it comes to calories and the possibilities of how many of them might make me over weight. I think Chojin is the bee's knees :love

Colonel Flagg Sep 13th, 2009 12:00 AM

Almost. :(

Guitar Woman Sep 13th, 2009 12:24 AM

I chalk it up to the fact that it was a sociology course and was so stupid I lost IQ points attending lectures

I know my shit about this class now, though, all I need to do is bullshit my way through two or three papers I've still got the guidelines for, while maybe showing up to class every once in a while and playing Final Fantasy on my laptop

Colonel Flagg Sep 13th, 2009 12:33 AM

I chalk it up to the fact that high school was so flipping easy, then to go to college and actually have to work hard and actually read the assigned texts gave me a case of the bends. I was just lucky that my school's policy was to give only P/F grades during first semester freshman year.

I got better.

Babs Sep 13th, 2009 12:37 AM

What I have to say right now is that OSU football is a big fucking dissapointment like all the other following years they've been. OH-Uh Oh.

Fathom Zero Sep 13th, 2009 12:43 AM

I don't have to read shit if I don't feel like it. I take a great many science and math classes. They account for ten of my fifteen hours.

LordSappington Sep 13th, 2009 12:58 AM

I just got back from walking the woods to get to the bridge at the other side so I could watch the lightning storm in the distance. We've been getting torrential rain lately, but I figured it'd just be insanely muddy, like usual.
Because I had my earbuds in, I didn't hear the river that was right in front of me as I was watching the sky, and got swept away a good thirty feet before I struggled back onto land. I'm fine, but my cd player is toast, and I feel pretty lame.

That works (sometimes), but the required courses in humanities killed me. As the first semester was the veritable wake-up call, I became more diligent as time progressed. By the time I got to grad school, I did all suggested reading as a matter of course - didn't even think about it. All my fellow students complained that I was "busting the curve". :\

I'm told it just gets easier as time goes on and experience levels rise. But so far, as I've been reading and studying, it's been easy.

My goal is just to get a degree to please people. I actually like manual labor more and I want to go to vocational school when I get outta here.

Babs Sep 13th, 2009 02:37 AM

vocational schools do wonders for specialized studies.

Fathom Zero Sep 13th, 2009 02:42 AM

Maybe even UTI. I could get into that. Cars are really interesting to me lately, not that I know much. I just wanna learn how to do things.

I got better.

I passed high school with something like straight Ds (and actually did fail ENGLISH once), but then I spent a couple years in the real world and suddenly had a newfound appreciation for school.

Now my GPA is 3.88 in college. It would be a 4.0 but I seemed to have a habit of picking my first class of the day to be run by some retarded hose beast who valued punctuality over all things. Also one of classes I got a B in was womens' studies, and fuck bitches.

Some great writing and my stuff is on this site...and don't use the fact that I use the word Rape in my script...they play RAPE ME by Nirvana on my local radio station and no one freaks out.

I really enjoyed women studies at University. It wasn't my best subject, but I feel I could have taken it further. I might, one day.

Chojin Sep 13th, 2009 09:31 PM

4.5 oz. chicken breast
2.5 oz. orange roughy fillet
3.7 oz. ground beef (93/7)
120 g. onions
78 g. cauliflower
+ soy sauce and spices

432 kcal / 9g fat / 10g carb / 72g protein

Got the idea from when my friend ordered a 'triple delight' at a chinese place and then asked for them to serve it without vegetables. He got a box of meat.

Shit's nice, btw.
