Movie forum? DDAAF forum? Clements forum? I DON'T KNOW, HELP

I was reading some reviews in the latest Empire this morning when I stumbled over this:

What the hell?

I can't believe he stole my sig pic when he could clearly afford his own.

One of the reviews on the hentai book says the authors are from the UK.

Yeah, I can't work it out either.

I googled a picture of him once, speaking at an anime conference. It's one of the things that led me to believe that he's probably a character. Or unoriginal.

Guys, it's not like that's a really unique name like Samy Tehwonderweasel or something...

kahljorn Oct 31st, 2005 11:29 AM

Or Zolp. Did you know if your last name is Zolp you can get a scholarship JUST for having that name? It's true.
We were looking at scholarships at borders yesterday.
You can also get a scholarship for making ducks fuck eachother, it's kind of strange. You also have to make them act a glutton. That killed me.

Jonathan Clement delivers a sparkiling anime presentation

edit: shit, just click the link >:

"sparkiling"

Would you expect any better? These are the people who spend hours trying to learn remedial Japanese when they can barely speak their own language. >:

Is Empire sold in shops in Norway or do you have a subscription? I'm hearing about more and more people who are reading it abroad. I didn't know it was so popular.

pjalne Oct 31st, 2005 12:55 PM

Yeah, it's one of the major film mags internationally. I don't think I've visited a single country where it isn't available at the newsagent's.
