darkvare Jul 28th, 2009 10:18 PM

why is not about warcraft instead of world of warcraft

Tadao Jul 28th, 2009 10:20 PM

Why not?

darkvare Jul 28th, 2009 10:33 PM

i think naming it world of warcraft instead of just warcraft is kinda dumb but who cares?

Fathom Zero Jul 28th, 2009 10:44 PM

There's a story to WoW?

Who's the protagonist?

The Leader Jul 28th, 2009 10:51 PM

Frodo Baggins.

Shrubfest Jul 29th, 2009 07:39 AM

I thought this thread said Sham Wow movie.

Supafly345 Jul 29th, 2009 08:27 AM

It really is perfect. I couldn't imagine it deserving anything better than a Spiderman 3 caliber of a movie.

executioneer Jul 29th, 2009 09:43 AM

i hope it's 5 1/2 hours long so people get the real "should i get up and go to the bathroom or should i just use this container i've been drinking out of" feeling WoW evokes

Dimnos Jul 29th, 2009 09:45 AM

:rolleyes Just... :rolleyes

Zhukov Jul 29th, 2009 10:14 AM

Well, it's called 'World of Warcraft' because some people that play World of Warcraft probably haven't heard of Warcraft. They might not notice that there is a movie set in their particular gaming world if it's just called 'Warcraft'.

Oh, also, how's it .. going, Hangie? haven't seen you here for ages. Maybe it's just me though.

LEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEROYYYYYYYY JENNNNNNKINNNNNNNNNNNNNS

Tadao Jul 29th, 2009 11:29 AM

Right now, The Lich King.

Shyandquietguy Jul 29th, 2009 01:36 PM

God damn, I can't tell if I want to see this or not. It's like an epitomic nerdy wink yet at the same time it looks like it'll be a train wreck worth watching.

I'm hoping that Raimi puts a sex scene in there. It wouldn't seem like his thing, but there are way too many factors here that would make it hilarious.

BurntToShreds Jul 29th, 2009 05:07 PM

I've only ever played Warcraft III, and I can tell you right now that it would make a much superior movie. Who wouldn't love watching a pally falling from grace and becoming the very thing he was fighting against? It would be awesome.

Dimnos Jul 29th, 2009 05:18 PM

Warcraft 3 did have a good story. Till WoW raped it and added space cows.

Big Papa Goat Jul 30th, 2009 01:53 AM

Why didn't Peter Jackson do this?
And Warcraft 3 was just as gay as hell as anything don't be stupid

Mockery Jul 30th, 2009 02:48 AM

Yeah, Peter Jackson would be good for this project.

They should've saved Raimi for a Diablo movie.

10,000 Volt Ghost Jul 30th, 2009 06:01 PM

They should have an entire movie about Warcraft III.

Warcraft: How Stella got her creep back.

They really need to make a Soul Calibur movie....and not muck it up.

Babs Jul 30th, 2009 06:07 PM

I just saw Drag Me to Hell which wasn't all to bad, just a lot of goo in the mouth moments. I think Raimi could definitely pull this off but yes, Jackson would seem to be more cut out for the part as well as Raimi would be amazing at a Diablo movie.

Zhukov Jul 30th, 2009 09:58 PM

Too bad Seregei Eisenstein was unavailable, he would have been perfect for either the Diablo, Warcraft or Starcraft movies.

executioneer Jul 30th, 2009 10:27 PM

i'd rather see uwe boll direct either movie

Babs Jul 30th, 2009 10:28 PM

Oh totally, he should just use the same makeup effects he used in house of the dead. Shit, might as well throw in some game play, give the viewers what they want.

Supafly345 Jul 30th, 2009 11:22 PM

Then at least nobody would pretend to like it.
