This board has become rather right wing.

I remember when the right was in a very obvious minority.

ItalianStereotype Mar 22nd, 2003 02:45 AM

it still is, its just that there are a few more of us than there were before and we have people like ronnia and vincezeb.

Anonymous Mar 22nd, 2003 04:17 AM

You spelled your name wrong.

Ronnie Raygun Mar 22nd, 2003 05:59 AM

It's just moving a little more towards the center.......nowhere near.......just closer.

KevinTheOmnivore Mar 22nd, 2003 09:26 AM

Yeah, Ronnie and VinceZeb are actually just moderate centrists. Wait until the REAL conservatives get here.....ALL of our wives will be getting laid then!! :lol

Helm Mar 22nd, 2003 10:39 AM

I suspect some regulars that are left do not post much anymore, since this forum seems pretty hopeless.

"Yeah, Ronnie and VinceZeb are actually just moderate centrists. Wait until the REAL conservatives get here.....ALL of our wives will be getting laid then!!"

The political landscape of the board is not to be determined by the views of one person.

VinceZeb Mar 22nd, 2003 01:51 PM

Ronnie, its just like the book Eric Alterman wrote, "What Liberal Bias?"

When right or centrist people get a small porton of the news popularity, the left sees it as a bias towards those groups.

I guess its fun living in la-la land.

Jeanette X Mar 22nd, 2003 08:17 PM

Anyone here have an exact definition of centrist?

VinceZeb Mar 22nd, 2003 08:36 PM

Someone that isnt liberal nor conserative nor libertarian. They side on different sides on different issues.

ItalianStereotype Mar 22nd, 2003 08:40 PM

there is also the populists.

AChimp Mar 22nd, 2003 08:58 PM

I am a centrist. The middle is the best. :)

Did I mention that most of Canada is also centrist? Because we are.

Hmm. What issues do you take the liberal side on?

VinceZeb Mar 22nd, 2003 09:35 PM

If there is one, off the top of my head I cant think of it. But then again I never said I was a centrist. I am more of a conserative with libertarian leanings.

theapportioner Mar 22nd, 2003 10:05 PM

These days, I'm more interested in action than talking (various volunteering stuff), and most people here are looking to argue rather than discuss. Not many people are swayed one way or another as opinions have solidified. As far as the war debate goes, Kevin, Burbank, and others have the anti-war front covered pretty well, and I do not feel like I need to do more than chime in occasionally.

Are there black choppers in la-la land????

VinceZeb Mar 23rd, 2003 07:26 AM

If there are, they only belong to the facist right-wing republicans who use them to terrorize third-world minority nations so we can use them as slave-labor. Since the left doesnt need guns or anything to defend itself because they will just hold hands, drink, do drugs and fuck for a diplomatic solution.

Ronnie Raygun Mar 23rd, 2003 07:58 AM

Centurist is a cose word for liberal......just like populist and progressive.

KevinTheOmnivore Mar 23rd, 2003 12:36 PM
