or you could use tversity or something to stream it to your xbox or ps3 if they're on the same network

or you could get a external harddrive and download it onto that and then go plug it into (again) an xbox or ps3

I like that for some reason.

That's why she only works at the bar and doesn't own a part of it.

If someone were to ask me if I liked Moral Orel I'd say sure, but that was before the "Nature" episode. I can't believe I'd never seen a single episode of the third season until now; watched the entire thing on Youtube. It's unbelievable that this is the same show that once featured naked zombies. You can't really list Moral Orel as a comedy anymore unless you completely ignore the last season, it's not "funny because it's dark," it's just plain dark. I'm amazed at how much drama they're able to pull off in fifteen minutes. Maybe it's because I just finished watching it but I feel like Moral Orel is the best show Adult Swim has ever produced.

The new episode of lost need to be out now. I want to see if the ever living guy is like gideon the watcher.

Watched wild and out yesterday and they had biz markie with fabalus. At the end where they have the battle for the belt Biz went on a freestyle that didn't really diss the other team but just sounded good. At the end of the freestyle the beat cut off....Biz looked right at Nick Cannon and was just like "NICK CANNON YOU'RE TERRIBLE."

He didn't get a point for it on the show but on this score board he did.

Dimnos Mar 18th, 2010 02:45 PM

I thought they started the last season of Lost already?

10,000 Volt Ghost Mar 18th, 2010 03:19 PM

They did. I'm eagerly awaiting next weeks episode.

Esuohlim Mar 18th, 2010 03:26 PM

Yeah now that the Temple bullshit is done this season's finally getting interesting

Ant10708 Mar 18th, 2010 05:06 PM

In regards to Lost, I like how so many minor characters are making appearances in the flash forwards. And they finally mentioned those 'jabronies' who were buried alive with the diamonds.

Dimnos Mar 18th, 2010 06:26 PM

Fuck Lost new Breaking Bad next week.

Zhukov Mar 19th, 2010 12:27 AM

Peep Show is on TV here now, but I was impatient and bought in on DVD anyway. Great show.

they're actually flashbacks (only in the sense that they are in the 'past,' not they anyone retains the memories). it's 2007 on the island and all the off island stuff is in the alternate 2004 timeline

my theory:
Spoilers!

kahljorn Mar 19th, 2010 05:35 AM

im so glad you wrote spoilers cause i really want to know what the fuck happens in that show without having to actually watch it

10,000 Volt Ghost Mar 19th, 2010 10:36 AM

I wish Miles had more screen time.

Esuohlim Mar 19th, 2010 11:42 AM

Miles and Sawyer as partners in the LA police department is the dumbest thing ever though

10,000 Volt Ghost Mar 19th, 2010 12:33 PM

yeah, I don't like how they just kinda threw different people together for the flash sideways. Especially with Jack and Dogan(?) both meeting because their kids play piano.

bigtimecow Mar 19th, 2010 08:20 PM

most of the flash sideways stuff i could live without right now. mainly because i don't see where the hell it's going and yeah, some of the pair ups seem to be for more of a "oh look!" reaction rather than "ahh yes, of course that would happen." i'm perplexed by them, but not in a good way

10,000 Volt Ghost Mar 20th, 2010 08:59 AM

According to the producers the "Flash sideways are important and relevant to what is happening in the main storyline." I'm wondering if they're going to merge them at the end and have a John Locke off.

10,000 Volt Ghost Mar 20th, 2010 04:12 PM

I'm also halfway through watching the first season of True Blood and its been awesome so far.

After trudging through only 17 episodes since I bought the whole series in August I have finally accepted the fact that Millennium was a very boring TV show. :(

10,000 Volt Ghost Apr 15th, 2010 10:16 PM

Been watching a lot of OZ lately and this show is badass as hell.

Zomboid May 2nd, 2010 07:59 PM

I recently went through every episode of the Wire. Seasons 1, 3 and 4 were really good. Season 2 was alright, and season 5 was definitely the point where the show ran out of steam, and it's probably best that it was the last one.

Esuohlim May 3rd, 2010 01:30 AM

Season 2 definitely benefits from a repeat viewing. I'm almost done rewatching the series myself.

Zomboid May 3rd, 2010 08:01 PM

Whenever I think back to season 2, I remember not liking it much at the time, but it really stands out as surprisingly memorable for some reason. I think you're right; I'll probably enjoy it a lot more when I see it again.

Characters like Ziggy, Nick and Frank were really different from almost every other character on the show.

Esuohlim May 3rd, 2010 09:41 PM

Yeah, I agree. My first time through I found the shift of focus to a bunch of white people working on the docks kind of jarring, but then you learn to love it better than the other seasons when the closet racist in you comes out :o

David Simon's new show just came out called Treme, which is apparently about New Orleans after Hurricane Who-Cares and it stars Bunk and Lester. I don't know much else about it, I haven't even seen any clips

bigtimecow May 4th, 2010 01:23 AM

LOST WAS A REPEAT LAST WEEK

BUT IT WAS A REPEAT OF MY FAVORITE EPISODE OF THE ENTIRE SERIES SO IT WAS OKAY

and it's a pretty important episode, and i guess this is the only time they've shown lost repeats in place of a new episode? thought i read that somewhere. in that case, maybe they're telling us to pay more attention to that episode because it will have connections to tomorrow's or something

NEW LOST TOMORROW. ISABELLA! ISABELLA! richard :(

10,000 Volt Ghost May 4th, 2010 09:51 AM

I was thinking they played a repeat last week so they could have more episodes in may...for sweeps. I'm also torn between what the smoke monster is...

I picked up the Daria complete series today for $45, which is a fucking sweet deal considering it comes with the two movies. Too bad they replaced most of the music due to licensing.

Show's still great after all these years. First season's a little rough around the edges, but still really solid.

I wish MTV still had decent programming :(

Thanks for the post brah

10,000 Volt Ghost May 22nd, 2010 03:09 PM

On Jimmy Kimmel afterwards they're having the cast of Lost on after the finale where they're going to show like 3 alternate endings to the series too.

Tadao May 22nd, 2010 03:43 PM

I can't wait for the 10 min youtube explanation show that I don't have to watch 10 years of the show.

10,000 Volt Ghost May 22nd, 2010 03:47 PM

I think the last episode got leaked a few months ago but people have been hush hush about it even on the internet.

Esuohlim May 22nd, 2010 03:48 PM

Why wait for even that when there's Wikipedia summaries, man

Tadao May 22nd, 2010 03:51 PM

I could only stand season 1 and parts of 2. I just don't have the patience for series. I could barely do Dexter and gave up completely on Heroes. Never watched ant Sopranos.

YOU SEE WHAT I'M SAYING HERE RIGHT?

I just ordered "The IT Crowd" seasons 1-3 for like 20 euros (~25 dollars). I've only seen 2 episodes, but that was enough to convince me. Funny as shit.

I saw two episodes of Doctor Who today.

Time of Angels and Flesh and Stone. It was a two parter.

They kicked so much ass that I cannot being to nerdgasm about it, because I won't be able to stop.

10,000 Volt Ghost Jun 19th, 2010 01:21 AM

Watching hong kong on boomerang. Koooonnnnggggrrriiificccc.

I found some new show on mtv2 that is pretty funny. Called something like "the life of r.j. mercer."

Classic nerdy kid falls in love with the hot girl. He ends up at the part with the hot girl then the jock comes over and punches his nose in. So the nerdy main character walks up to the jock in the middle of the party.

He pulls out his elephant sized dick, rubs his sweaty balls then rubs his hand in the jocks face. Then he's like "that what a real man smells like. "

Kitsa Jun 20th, 2010 04:00 PM

I was watching that dumb as shit Sweet 16 marathon this morning, for lack of anything better to do.

I wonder if the brat kids will ever understand that the party's not about them.

Esuohlim Jun 20th, 2010 04:08 PM

Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip

The sketch comedy is terrible, the characters are all extremely self-righteous liberal douchebags (and a few self-righteous conservative douchebags for good measure), and it has fucking Chandler from Friends.

Pretty good show otherwise

Zhukov Jun 23rd, 2010 06:36 AM

With time to kill I bought and watched all the episodes of Bottom. Sometimes unfunny, sometimes hilarious.

Kitsa Jun 23rd, 2010 06:56 AM

100% agreed, Zhukov.

Mad Melvin Jun 23rd, 2010 08:05 AM

Just watched all seasons of The Wire. I honestly think that television doesn't get much better than that. It took me quite a few episodes to get into the series, but after that I was hooked. Omar is propably one of the best characters in any television series ever. Everything about this show was just awesome as hell. Granted, the fifth season was a bit weaker than the previous four, but it still kicked ass.

Now that I think about it, The Sopranos may be the only other series I like better.

10,000 Volt Ghost Jun 23rd, 2010 11:46 AM

I started watching ncis lately because it has that guy from summer school in it. Then I found out ncis: l.a. has ll cool j AND chris o'donnell in it.

The only problem I had with the Wire is that is made the other TV shows I liked look weak by comparison, effectively making me like those TV shows less the next time I watched them :(

The Wire is so different from the other shows I watch, so no problem for me. Watching the last episode from season 5 made mee feel hella depressed for a couple of days, though. I know the show is entirely fictional, but I still felt like I lost something important. Partly because the show was so incredibly well written and the characters were so great, and partly because I have no life so I can dwell on shit like this way longer than necessary.

I'm in dire need of a good (crime) drama. Already watched The Sopranos, Oz, The Wire, Rescue Me, Breaking Bad and Dexter. Any suggestions?

Esuohlim Jun 23rd, 2010 06:54 PM

While I haven't seen any of it yet, I hear The Shield is very good the whole way through. And it's not a crime drama, but Six Feet Under is tops! You can't go wrong with anything from HBO really.

Esuohlim Jul 31st, 2010 04:44 AM

I've been watching Californication lately. At first I thought it was just ok, and then I just kind of started hating all the characters and their insufferable trendiness. EVERYONE IS TRENDY. Hank is a smug writer, Karen used to be in a noise band, the 12-year-old daughter sings and plays guitar and worships Satan.

Somewhere near the end of season 1 it picked up, though. Then I blasted through season 2 in two days, which I thought was way better. :\
