kahljorn Mar 4th, 2009 05:02 AM

so did you get a scar on your neck bigmclargehuge?

Dixie Mar 4th, 2009 05:06 AM

I had not seen the "T.O.N. Nosferatu" yet.

Big McLargehuge Mar 4th, 2009 05:07 AM

No, just a red mark that is going away. I was pretty drunk and didn't do it right. Just passed out and woke up with my dog licking my face.

kahljorn Mar 4th, 2009 05:11 AM

there's been nights that i watch the nosferatu thing twice in a row ;o i love it. ONE BURNS THE SPIRIT, THE OTHER YOUR FLESH. I found it at gamestop for TWO DOLLAS

thats good ;o i have scars on my wrist from the last time i tried to kill myself, and i probably did permanant damage to my body when i tried to od :(

RaNkeri Mar 4th, 2009 05:13 AM

I guess you're not talking about the movie :(

Dixie Mar 4th, 2009 05:14 AM

Kahl, I think we have the same bedspread......

kahljorn Mar 4th, 2009 05:28 AM

hehe. That blankets so coool and comfy

i just watched the part with your signature.

lol the first scene that it plays in is hilarious. I want to make an avatar of it ;o

Kitsa Mar 4th, 2009 08:40 AM

god licorice allsorts are wonderful.

Dixie Mar 4th, 2009 08:41 AM

Kitsa Mar 4th, 2009 08:46 AM

http://www.carouselcandies.com/store...maincat/20.htm , go down about half the page

They're not like black jellybeans, they're tempered slightly by slabs of frosting (I like the brown ones best). I get them at the Jewish deli in Madison in bulk and when I run out I scrounge up more anywhere I can. Was thrilled to see them selling at CVS in easy-to-spot black bags.

RaNkeri Mar 4th, 2009 08:49 AM

Man PEZ was awesome :(

I used to have one Scrooge and two Garfield PEZs.
I think I still have the Garfield ones, atleast I don't remember tossing 'em away.

Dixie Mar 4th, 2009 08:50 AM

They look good, but I'm not a fan of black licorice.

Kitsa Mar 4th, 2009 08:51 AM

I'm not either, I can't stand black jellybeans or twizzlers.

This is more like a really, really mild version of horehound, if you've had that. Kind of dark and spicy.

Kitsa Mar 4th, 2009 08:52 AM

Molasses! That's exactly what it tastes like. Dark molasses.

MetalMilitia Mar 4th, 2009 08:53 AM

Sorry Kitsa, I don't eat anything that tastes disgusting.

Kitsa Mar 4th, 2009 08:54 AM

Liar, you're in the UK. You have no choice.

Dixie Mar 4th, 2009 08:54 AM

I like molasses.
I'll have to check out that brand.

MetalMilitia Mar 4th, 2009 09:00 AM

You've made a powerful enemy today, Kitsa.

We used to have an empire and everything.

Kitsa Mar 4th, 2009 09:03 AM

I eat much British food, and know it well enough to know how truly nasty some of it is.

British chocolate is way better than American.

Dixie Mar 4th, 2009 09:04 AM

And now you just have Marmite and Elton John.

Kitsa Mar 4th, 2009 09:13 AM

gaaarrggh marmite gaaaaagghhh.

Dixie Mar 4th, 2009 09:15 AM

My sentiments exactly.

MetalMilitia Mar 4th, 2009 09:35 AM

I find it extremely hard to believe anyone could dislike a salty black paste made of... dead yeast or something.

Dixie Mar 4th, 2009 09:40 AM

Yeah Marmite looks TOTALLY appetizing.

Kitsa Mar 4th, 2009 10:06 AM

Marmite is like if you took Guinness and made a thick paste of it, added salt and then let someone ferment it a bit in their sweaty asscrack before scraping it into a jar.

Dixie Mar 4th, 2009 10:09 AM

And it looks like diarrhea.

MetalMilitia Mar 4th, 2009 10:14 AM

I blame the unsophisticated America pallet. :posh

Kitsa Mar 4th, 2009 10:19 AM

Shall we have a discussion on the sophisticated British palate, then?

I can go on at length regarding curry standards.

Not to mention that Chicken Tonight is still marketed to your people. I saw it at the British grocery. And oh, how I laughed.

Dixie Mar 4th, 2009 10:21 AM

And I'm not down with all the fucking beans, man.

executioneer Mar 4th, 2009 10:23 AM

the kulturkampf threads have been merged, i'm so happy about it i can't speak

Kitsa Mar 4th, 2009 10:26 AM

Of course, my own people give kids packets of sweetened condensed milk to suck on at school, so, you know.

Dixie Mar 4th, 2009 10:31 AM

That's like an ultimate nightmare to me.

On that note, I'm going to watch some movies and pack for a little while.

Kitsa Mar 4th, 2009 10:38 AM

Speaking of britain, I just paid £32.49 for a birthday gift for myself! (because the NHL shop can go fuck itself, as I mentioned in a previous thread).

Instead, I got the china teapot that completes my heirloom set I've been assembling for 10 years. Now if it could just get here without breaking.

And just what exactly is your people supposed to mean?

Kitsa is a racist. She trades people for spice.

Kitsa Mar 4th, 2009 11:09 AM

hey, it's ORIENTAL!

Zhukov Mar 4th, 2009 11:44 AM

The UK beats India at curry hands down. It's absolutely delicious and I wish I was eating it right now.

Kitsa Mar 4th, 2009 12:04 PM

I eat mainly South Indian food and you don't see a lot of it around, most restaurants are North Indian. So I steam my own idlis.

Tadao Mar 4th, 2009 02:14 PM

OMG the UK got suckerd into chicken tonight?

Shrubfest Mar 4th, 2009 02:15 PM

Yep. I still remember the awful adverts.

Aaarg Mar 4th, 2009 02:21 PM

i feel like chicken tonight like chicken tonight like chicken tonight

Tadao Mar 4th, 2009 02:24 PM

I've been getting interesting snaplink ads but this one is the best so far.

MetalMilitia Mar 4th, 2009 02:31 PM

Aha! Said Tadao and Pregnant Carnivore (his roommate) as the ghost of Cosmo played guitar.

EDIT: Dammit missed out old men.

Tadao Mar 4th, 2009 02:34 PM

The possibilities are endless!

Dixie Mar 4th, 2009 03:59 PM

Tadao Mar 4th, 2009 04:06 PM

Imma gonna but a bun in your oven :o

Kitsa Mar 4th, 2009 04:08 PM

a bunny in every oven, that's the tadao promise.

Tadao Mar 4th, 2009 04:12 PM

I wonder why rabbit isn't a big marketed meat.

Dixie Mar 4th, 2009 04:17 PM

Because people don't want to know they're eating something so cute.
I wish there were a butcher around here who sold rabbit and other skinless and gutted woodland creatures.

Tadao Mar 4th, 2009 04:28 PM

I want rabbit in a can!

b_squared Mar 4th, 2009 04:53 PM

http://ts3.images.live.com/images/th...a019987583253f Frozen rabbit in a box.

Tadao Mar 4th, 2009 05:04 PM

I don't think it would be good frozen.

MetalMilitia Mar 4th, 2009 07:05 PM

Game meat isn't ever popular. It's the same with like pheasant and stuff. You can buy it, but people typically don't for whatever reason.

Tadao Mar 4th, 2009 07:13 PM

That's why I'd like it in a can of juicy goodness.

Kitsa Mar 4th, 2009 08:07 PM

Jungle Jim's has an exotic meats section. I know I've seen all that stuff there.

I saw canned rattlesnake once but wasn't brave enough.

Tadao Mar 4th, 2009 08:11 PM

I once had some Phở that had eveything in it. Octopus, alligator, snake, etc. It was horrible. I was used to Phở with just beef.

kahljorn Mar 4th, 2009 08:21 PM

i want some phocking pho :( that sounds so delicious ;\

Tadao Mar 4th, 2009 08:27 PM

I think it would do me some good.

pac-man Mar 4th, 2009 09:12 PM

hehehehehe...Jungle Jim's exotic meat :lol

Alligator and rattlesnake are good, but suffer from "tastes like chicken" when fried. Never had pho, tho.

Tadao Mar 4th, 2009 09:16 PM

Meat usually isn't all that cooked in Pho, so it doesn't taste like chicken at all :x

pac-man Mar 4th, 2009 09:21 PM

Ah, after googling it I see what you mean.

Kitsa Mar 4th, 2009 09:24 PM

I stumbled upon some Limited Edition Jello Instant Strawberry Pudding. It's not bad at all.

Strawberry pudding is weird, though. Almost as weird as the Japanese coffee-jello stuff.

Tadao Mar 4th, 2009 09:25 PM

I don't know if I went to a "real" korean restaurant or if that one just liked to put every animal they could find in it. It was take home, so the meat was out of the soup, you cook the meat by putting it in hot soup. I got to look at mystery raw meat and try to decide what to try.

Tadao Mar 4th, 2009 09:26 PM

I like vanilla pudding.

Dixie Mar 5th, 2009 04:05 AM

Dixie Mar 5th, 2009 04:07 AM

Things always get really quiet around 4am.
Even the cats seem to stop snoring.

Dixie Mar 5th, 2009 04:26 AM

Zhukov Mar 5th, 2009 08:47 AM

Kangaroo and Wallaby are a 'gamey' meat, and also very popular. Wallaby is easily the better of the two. I really like it, it's slightly more ... refined. But Kangaroo is like big, bloody, red meat. Good for barbecues.

Zhukov Mar 5th, 2009 08:50 AM

It's 12:49 am here. Friday, too.

Tadao Mar 5th, 2009 01:36 PM

I like gamey meat.

Tadao Mar 5th, 2009 02:18 PM

This reminds me of Logans Run. The part with the Ice robot guy.

RaNkeri Mar 5th, 2009 02:29 PM

Tadao, homie, my main man, you still got a link for that youtube video featuring fat wilford brimley cat? :eek

Tadao Mar 5th, 2009 02:38 PM

What was he doing? I see 10 cat vids a day ;)

pac-man Mar 5th, 2009 02:43 PM

was it something like this?

EDIT: even better http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XQv1choQS3c

Tadao Mar 5th, 2009 03:02 PM

I think I posted one without dubbed in sound.

Tadao Mar 5th, 2009 03:06 PM

Chillin on the couch.

Babs Mar 5th, 2009 03:18 PM

Those are the most amazing videos I have ever seen

pac-man Mar 5th, 2009 03:21 PM

Take it to the YouTube thread, Babs.

Babs Mar 5th, 2009 03:26 PM

sorry :(

Tadao Mar 5th, 2009 06:03 PM

Hey Kitsa!

WhiteRat Mar 5th, 2009 06:29 PM

Take it to the Tadao Wants To Bone Kitsa thread, Tads.

Tadao Mar 5th, 2009 06:33 PM

She won't reply to me there :(

Kitsa Mar 5th, 2009 06:48 PM

I wish I'd never told any of you I was female. It all just disintegrates from there :(

MetalMilitia Mar 5th, 2009 06:50 PM

We would've figured it out as soon as you started going on about elaborate food stuffs.

Tadao Mar 5th, 2009 06:50 PM

We treat you like a woman and you love it! ;)

Kitsa Mar 5th, 2009 06:54 PM

I just want to be treated like a Kitsa.

Tadao Mar 5th, 2009 07:04 PM

Tadao Mar 5th, 2009 07:30 PM

I'm watching the dog whisperer fix the dog of a dog psychic. :/

Kitsa Mar 5th, 2009 07:41 PM

I wish I didn't have to watch anything right now :/

10,000 Volt Ghost Mar 5th, 2009 07:53 PM

I don't know what a Kitsa is. I searched but only came up with:

Which Kitsa is is?

Tadao Mar 5th, 2009 07:58 PM

10,000 Volt Ghost Mar 5th, 2009 08:24 PM

I was way off.

Kitsa Mar 5th, 2009 09:30 PM

Fuck, it's so depressing that two of those are mine :(

Tadao Mar 5th, 2009 09:47 PM

I am so thankful that Tadao is a common name.

10,000 Volt Ghost Mar 5th, 2009 09:57 PM

I took a claim from someone named Tadao a few weeks ago.

I know #3 is you Kitsa. Is it #1 as well?

pac-man Mar 5th, 2009 10:09 PM

The first one is what happens when she plays with her food.

Kitsa Mar 5th, 2009 10:49 PM

Yeah, #1 is when I had to do some food art for I-don't-know-what and I was sick and felt shitty. The product is that.

#3 is the one magazines always seem to nab off the internet, that and the washed-out one, when they want a picture of my pathetic ass looking all "artsy". I don't know what's artsy about it except for maybe dangle earrings. I don't profess to know what's going on in their heads.
