The theory behind this neck traction device is that you will experience less pain if you don’t have to hold up your own head. This blow up collar is meant to be good for pinched nerves, tension headaches and osteoarthritis. Don’t forget the all important disclaimer though: “If you have pre-existing conditions consult a medical professional before using this device.”

:oao

Grislygus Mar 1st, 2010 05:18 PM

Her face reminds me of the decapitated head under the cowboy hat from Tremors

This is the part in the horror movie when the hero suspiciously removes the neck brace, revealing the fact that the woman's actually dead and that a swarm of killer spider young are living inside her neck

Esuohlim Mar 1st, 2010 05:22 PM

Definitely creating a post dump thread for this goddamn character so there's no way to encourage the dumbass behind it

At first I thought it was something to help those African girls stretch out their necks before getting the gold hoops. Or simply to support their neck if they had to sell the gold for food or a home or HIV meds.

Our local grocery store still has their "African American Heritage" display set up.

It's a card table covered in kente cloth and decorated with wobbly inkjet printouts of martin luther king. On the table sits a box of cornbread mix, a can of collard greens and a jar of hair relaxer.

I wish I'd taken a picture.

Ah, I remember when this used to air in TV:
