Dixie Sep 3rd, 2009 12:26 AM

may your sword stay wet, like a young girl in her prime

Fathom Zero Sep 3rd, 2009 12:31 AM

PAGE BLAK IN DA HIZZY

Dixie Sep 3rd, 2009 01:34 AM

he makes me wanna break out the glow sticks

Kitsa Sep 3rd, 2009 08:29 AM

When I was a really little kid I was in a commercial for Monchichi chewable vitamins :(

My mom said I spent the money on stickers. We don't even have a tape or anything. :( :(

Dixie Sep 3rd, 2009 08:57 AM

I wish I had Monchichi vitamins :(
Another reason you're awesome Kitsa!

Kitsa Sep 3rd, 2009 09:00 AM

For some reason my mom enrolled me in modeling school for a brief time. I was the only kid there. I did maybe like 10 mall fashion shows and a couple of commercials. The other one was for some florist. Then we moved and the whole modeling thing was dropped and never mentioned again (fine with me).

Dixie Sep 3rd, 2009 09:23 AM

Awww, well you're still a superstar to us <3

Kitsa Sep 3rd, 2009 09:24 AM

You're in a good mood this morning.

Dixie Sep 3rd, 2009 09:27 AM

Not really, but I'll make the best of it anyhow :)

Kitsa Sep 3rd, 2009 09:29 AM

I'm gonna make brownies, I think.

Dixie Sep 3rd, 2009 09:31 AM

That sounds pretty damn good

Kitsa Sep 3rd, 2009 09:46 AM

ghirardelli double fudge with walnuts.

Dixie Sep 3rd, 2009 09:47 AM

Dixie Sep 3rd, 2009 09:58 AM

i'm going to go lay back down, it's going to be another hour or two before the laundry is dry.
my challenge today will be "how much of this next 24 hours can I sleep"

I'd like a day like that right about now.

10,000 Volt Ghost Sep 3rd, 2009 10:45 AM

^ That's the plan for labor day. I'm trying to do next to nothing except possibly laundry.

Kitsa Sep 3rd, 2009 11:06 AM

I used to try those 24-hour experiments when I was on bedrest, to try and make the day go faster.

I figured out that you can sleep about 14-16 hours of it if you really try, without sedatives, but you end up really sore (even on a memory foam mattress) and you get a wicked case of bedhead. That, and there's only so much of a Tales From the Darkside marathon you can take during your waking hours.

10,000 Volt Ghost Sep 3rd, 2009 11:22 AM

It's either going to be sleep or finish up watching season 1 of TAXI. <3

Colonel Flagg Sep 3rd, 2009 02:02 PM

Alex - you mean you changed your name to Ignitowski??
Jim (with a Cheshire grin) - Say it backwards!
Alex - Ixwotigni?
Jim (crestfallen) - Gee. That doesn't sound a bit like "Star Child" does it?

I loved that show. :love

10,000 Volt Ghost Sep 3rd, 2009 02:05 PM

The face that Christopher Lloyd makes when he reallizes it doesn't spell Star Child is priceless. :lol

Kitsa Sep 3rd, 2009 02:50 PM

I always thought of Kramer as just more or less doing a Jim impersonation.

Dixie Sep 3rd, 2009 03:53 PM

ok so i'm awake again dammit. it's not tomorrow yet.
:(

Wiffles Sep 3rd, 2009 05:05 PM

longest I slept was a day and a half when I took too much cinnamon sticks o.o

Dixie Sep 3rd, 2009 05:07 PM

It may be time to break out the nyquil.

MarioRPG Sep 3rd, 2009 05:19 PM

Something of a coma, wiffles?

Tadao Sep 3rd, 2009 05:43 PM

I slept for a day and a half after being up for 5 days on meth, I mean cotton candy.

Aaarg Sep 3rd, 2009 06:10 PM

Oh man, you were a cottonhead?

Dimnos Sep 3rd, 2009 06:12 PM

Cotton candy and Big Red and chewy Sweet Tarts. :orgasm

Aaarg Sep 3rd, 2009 06:15 PM

Wait, what are the other two euphemisms for?

I could imagine Big Red...

Kitsa Sep 3rd, 2009 06:19 PM

you lost me a long time ago

The Leader Sep 3rd, 2009 06:19 PM

Chewy Sweet Tarts = Ecstasy

Kitsa Sep 3rd, 2009 06:23 PM

oh.

You know what's really depressing? When kids I used to babysit, whose DIAPERS I used to change, find me on myspace and they're like college seniors now :tear

Tadao Sep 3rd, 2009 06:26 PM

My old best friend has a 16 year old daughter now. ;)

Aaarg Sep 3rd, 2009 06:30 PM

You guys are old!

The other night my roommate was saying something about a musician, "he came out pretty recently. His first album is from 2002 and blah blah blah." After he finished, I said, "dude, 2002 isn't recent anymore. That was seven years ago." We both had a "fuuuuuck" moment and swiftly forgot about it because we were high.

Kitsa Sep 3rd, 2009 06:34 PM

I'm 32. I've been babysitting since 4th grade.

The Leader Sep 3rd, 2009 06:37 PM

Those people are not college seniors! You'd be 12 when I was born, and I'm a sophomore.

Kitsa Sep 3rd, 2009 06:39 PM

I've been babysitting since I was 9 or 10. At least 2 of the kids I sat for are seniors. Several (because I was an au pair for some kids whose moms didn't trust them alone, and wanted someone around) are almost as old as I am...they were 10 or 11 when I was 13-14.

The Leader Sep 3rd, 2009 06:41 PM

Dang, I wouldn't trust my kids with some jive ass nine year old.

Kitsa Sep 3rd, 2009 06:58 PM

I wasn't an ordinary nine year old.

The Leader Sep 3rd, 2009 07:03 PM

Oh... Oh my...

kahljorn Sep 3rd, 2009 07:11 PM

she had powers

Kitsa Sep 3rd, 2009 07:14 PM

shit yeah I had powers

10,000 Volt Ghost Sep 3rd, 2009 07:18 PM

Just not the shit powers

Kitsa Sep 3rd, 2009 07:20 PM

no, not the shit powers. Mainly the boring responsibility powers that aren't interesting.

Zhukov Sep 3rd, 2009 07:22 PM

Hey guys! It's 9:21 on Friday morning! Are you all ready to entertain me for my day off work?

Kitsa Sep 3rd, 2009 07:25 PM

I am! Let's begin with the Interactive Attack Bat.

Pub Lover Sep 3rd, 2009 07:26 PM

Tadao Sep 3rd, 2009 07:44 PM

I hope Hangie gets grounded from the computer soon.

Otto Sep 3rd, 2009 07:54 PM

I hope he gets run over by a truck full of dicks.

10,000 Volt Ghost Sep 3rd, 2009 08:15 PM

:lol

Zhukov Sep 3rd, 2009 08:34 PM

Yeah I bought that Kitsa. I could not get this to work, it fell apart while I tried to wind it up.

Kitsa Sep 3rd, 2009 08:40 PM

You write excellent reviews though.

Zhukov Sep 3rd, 2009 08:42 PM

Thank you. I hope you found it helpful.

Kitsa Sep 3rd, 2009 08:47 PM

It's a shame it doesn't work better because the idea of a mechanical attack bat is intriguing.

Tadao Sep 3rd, 2009 08:49 PM

I was trying to figure out it's function. You push a button and it leaps at you?

Otto Sep 3rd, 2009 08:51 PM

That's probably why it's on clearance and has a one star rating.

Zhukov Sep 3rd, 2009 08:53 PM

I get the impression that it not only senses you and leaps at you, but it hangs from the roof. This would be a great toy if it wasn't a piece of cheap shit made with the intention of luring kids in with promises and then duly falling apart.

Uh, I assume.

Tadao Sep 3rd, 2009 08:54 PM

I always wanted a toy Owl from Clash of the Titans. I kept hoping some company was gonna make one when I was a kid.

Zhukov Sep 3rd, 2009 08:57 PM

My Grandfather carved a wooden eagle for me, and I painted it. When it wasn't being used to attack lego men it was in the garden scaring away sparrows.

Kitsa Sep 3rd, 2009 09:05 PM

Tadao: you could probably get one via etsy alchemy.

Tadao Sep 3rd, 2009 09:07 PM

I think someone actually made one like 5 years ago, but I'm not little anymore and I try not to collect anymore stuff as I have no room for even a Birthday card.

Tadao Sep 3rd, 2009 09:07 PM

Unless it's an online BDay card

Tadao Sep 3rd, 2009 09:08 PM

Like a picture of the senders bewbs.

Tadao Sep 3rd, 2009 09:08 PM

Cause that's all I want :tear

Tadao Sep 3rd, 2009 09:10 PM

I've asked all the girls except for Kitsa, cause we already had this discussion.

Kitsa Sep 3rd, 2009 09:11 PM

I don't do boob shots.

The Leader Sep 3rd, 2009 09:11 PM

Here's the Bubo replica you were thinking of. No boobs, though. :/

https://www.gentlegiantltd.com/catal...uct/detail/204

Tadao Sep 3rd, 2009 09:17 PM

That's a good looking one, I think the one I saw opened it's mouth and dilated it's eyes and made noise, but then again it could have been a homemade one.

The Leader Sep 3rd, 2009 09:21 PM

Would it be your friend too? 'Cause I'd like that. :(

Tadao Sep 3rd, 2009 09:24 PM

I would force it to be my friend. I even liked it more than R2-D2, I guess I've always loved animals. Probably because I had a subscription to Ranger Rick back in the mid 70's and well into the 80's. Grandma always renewed it for me.

10,000 Volt Ghost Sep 3rd, 2009 09:35 PM

The Bubo statue looks nice but not for $60.
