So, what's Brett putting on his Wheaties these days? Jeez!

10,000 Volt Ghost Oct 6th, 2009 06:05 PM

Browns @ Bills this week. Babs you should trip up here.

3) Next year will have a rookie salary cap

4) Most teams generally don't have "draft rusty, egotistical, inexperienced, high maintenance wide receiver" at the top of their to do list

Oh the humanity.

Tadao Oct 7th, 2009 02:48 PM

Does he fill stadiums?

Colonel Flagg Oct 7th, 2009 09:59 PM

We'll have to see. He still hasn't even practiced for about a year (foot injury in college, then all that contract ugliness). He's good - that's the consensus opinion - but generally rookie wideouts have to get a year or two of seasoning before they really start producing. As he's at best a year behind his peers, he'll either need to be a really fast learner, or much more talented than even the most knowledgeable sports pundit could imagine.

El Blanco Oct 8th, 2009 12:25 PM

Terrible deal for the 49ers. They had all the leverage. He was simply that damn stupid. they should have just traded his rights away.

Babs Oct 11th, 2009 07:59 PM

Another bad ass victory for the bengals.

Colonel Flagg Oct 11th, 2009 09:44 PM

And the Browns win their first of the season.

Did I say win? I meant that they didn't lose. :\

10,000 Volt Ghost Oct 12th, 2009 10:58 AM

Ugh, I went to the Browns vs Bills game. It was just agonizing.

Pentegarn Oct 12th, 2009 12:47 PM

How bad off are the Bills if they lost to Cleveland?

Colonel Flagg Oct 12th, 2009 01:07 PM

Heh, kind of like getting turned down by the ugliest girl at the bar. :x

Pentegarn Oct 12th, 2009 01:12 PM

Naw, losing to the Browns is like getting turned down by your right hand

10,000 Volt Ghost Oct 12th, 2009 02:01 PM

:tear....He's right you know.

Has anyone seen the UFL at all? They look like they're sponsored by BLITZ.

Pentegarn Oct 12th, 2009 08:02 PM

I would like to see it. What with the AFL being shut down for the foreseeable future it would be nice to see a secondary league running.

Colonel Flagg Oct 12th, 2009 10:12 PM

I actually dug Arena Football. As long as you aren't interested in defense. :\ It is what it is. Or rather was. :(

What exactly is this "UFL" of what you speak. I'm a little out of touch. Apparently.

(Not that that's surprising in any way ...)

10,000 Volt Ghost Oct 13th, 2009 09:32 AM

I think the UFL uniforms look like they should be on deodorant sticks.

El Blanco Oct 13th, 2009 09:49 AM

Jim Fassel, Denny Greene and Al Groh all coach in it. Awesome?

Thoughts 10k?

Babs Oct 18th, 2009 02:48 AM

Nothing is better than the XFL you pussies.

All real football leagues fold in there first season, it's defacto.

Geggy Oct 18th, 2009 06:43 PM

Patriots 59
Titans 0
End of 3rd

Babs Oct 18th, 2009 06:52 PM

MattJack Oct 18th, 2009 07:20 PM

Drew. Mother. Fucking. Brees.

Also the New England game was fu*king sick. Tennessee got their shit pushed in.

Babs Oct 18th, 2009 08:23 PM

Correction, got their dick knocked in the cold dirt.

Colonel Flagg Oct 18th, 2009 08:51 PM
