It's apparently fixable but the internet isn't much help, and the only website I can find that gives advice pertaining to my HP Pavilion zv6000 is Yahoo Answers where they range from "pry open your monitor and tighten your screws" to "buy a new laptop". I'm not inclined to do either >:

I can lean the screen against my wall so I'm not too concerned about it right now

my toshiba does that, it's a pain in the ass

This part here should just clip on (you'll probably need a screwdriver to pry it off). Once it's off you may be able to access the screws holding up the display.
