Man, I haven't thought about Lori Lemaris in a looooong time. There was one where Clark Kent was seeing her up on the surface? And he disguised her by keeping her in a wheelchair with a blanket over her tail. THAT is HOT.

So, all the chicks Supes ever dug had the initials L.L., but those are Lex Luthors iniytials, too. Do you suppose they ever....

NAH.

"you wanted to be with me ´till the end Lois. This is it! SO LONG!"
:lol
I MUST read that comic. I need to know what the hell is going on in that picture.

"PAT BOONE and Lois Lane are singing a new song about me! It's a great tune, but I must use all my super-powers to prevent it from becoming a hit!"

mburbank Jan 27th, 2005 11:20 AM

Huh. I guess Supes was around for a lot of Pat Boones career.

My God, what kind of drugs were DC writers on in the sixties? I wish I could read some of these! Where are the covers coming from, are they online already? Or are they being scanned in for these articles? More, MORE!

Mockery Jan 27th, 2005 12:26 PM

They're online already actually, and we'll be putting up more soon enough. :o

"I Am Curious! (BLACK!)"

:lol

Not as good as Jimmy Olsen, methinks, but still awesome.

EDIT - I love the one where the rolling pin is broken over Superman's head.

pjalne Jan 27th, 2005 01:59 PM

The reason why they're not as good as the Jimmy ones is that there's a whole other... well, sub-genre, almost, of Lois covers. There was no way I could include just a few of them, so there'll be another Lois page sometime in the future.

Oh and yeah, I never thought DC would pay homage to an obscure Swedish film about sexual liberation.

"I'll tell you why I'll never marry you, Lana, or you, Lois! Who wants a wife so stupid that she doesn't realize I'm Superman when I take off my Clark Kent glasses?"

Oh God, that is hilarious

I just wanted to say is that I really like those boots.

Spooky Jan 27th, 2005 06:37 PM

plagiarism. :/

Emu Jan 27th, 2005 08:16 PM

I didn't know chimps joined leopard packs. I didn't know humans did, either. Explain that, Jeanette.

The cover with Wonder Woman offers a peek into a cherished sub genre of mine, something I will certainly write about at some point.

That's not just wonder woman out of costume. That is the early 70's No Powers wonder woman! She briefly lost her powers, started dressing seriously fun-KAY and had to learn how to get by in Man's World as a normal woman. It was all very bad man writers interpretation of womens lib, and it was HYSTERICAL.

give her a mystery, and she'll solve it.

Definitely, you guys should know that this exact same article was presented in the allsparks forum! I got to admit, I love I-mockery but this was a blatant rip off!!!

http://www.allspark.com/forums/index...775&hl=mockery

That also contains the link to the original forum...

Tsk Tsk I-mockery....

Spooky Jan 28th, 2005 07:47 PM

felix, its funny then, either allspark stole the "superman is a dick" from me on a third, different forum, or everyone seems to use the same idea. :/

pjalne Jan 28th, 2005 07:53 PM

Oh, that. Rog sent me a link to that after the Jimmy Olsen piece.

I had never been to that forum before someone started crying foul. How is this supposed to be plagiarism? That some guys at some forum found the same images on the internet isn't really that astounding. The internet is a big place, but not that big.

So, what, is Boogie a thief for writing about Riki-Oh? I mean, there must be someone else somewhere on the internet who wrote about that before he did. And what about the snowmen you made when you were a kid? Someone else had used snow to make stuff before you did.

Spooky Jan 28th, 2005 08:06 PM

Which is what I said, it must be a commonly done idea.

pjalne Jan 28th, 2005 08:07 PM

Yup. You posted while I was writing mine.
