Stuff I wish was on the VC

I'd love to see some Dreamcast titles on the Virtual Console. Grandia 2 made me very happy. Yeah I know it was on PS2 also but I didn't play that one so I don't want it. Also, Jet Grind Radio.

El Oh El Feb 17th, 2008 04:07 AM

I was talking about that today, the first soulcalibur game would be sweet

Codiekitty Feb 17th, 2008 10:52 AM

Well, you have to remember the size of games when you say things like "They should get Panzer Dragoon Saga on the Virtual Console!" Supposively some uncompressed TG-CD games are bigger than the entire Wii's virtual memory. How big is a Dreamcast game? Hell, Grandia 2 was two discs. Or in the case of PDS, a four-disc Saturn game?

I imagine they could put up a large game, but I'd say they'd have to upload it in chunks. You download the first part, play to the end, then have to delete it and download the next part. Like discs, I guess.

Dr. V Feb 17th, 2008 08:28 PM

Yeah that's why I said wish.

I was pretty awful at that game (giant baby did me in), but I liked the gimick and if you had a friend that wouldn't walk away from you it was fine. :)

Schimid Feb 27th, 2008 10:58 PM

I'm just waiting for Turtles In Time, Hyperstone Heist or TMNT 2 or 3 on the NES.

Kirby Superstar is definitely at the top, though.

MarioRPG Feb 28th, 2008 03:21 PM

actually, no. the story behind that picture (as well as my trip to HHN 16) was that for absolutely no reason i chose to deliberately wear a mickey mouse hat to see if i would be targeted by the scareactors a lot more (not to mention that Universal has a long standing rivalry with disney since USF opened in 1990). needless to say, it worked

It's probably because a lot of scareactors also work for the rat. Since they couldn't relaly single out someone with mouse ears at WDW, they probably jump at the chance to do so at HHN. I mostly just chased after the women with the largest breasts :)

But back on topic...I'd love to see the Star Wars games for the SNES. I never got around to playing RotJ, but I'd gladly get all 3 of them.

now that you mentioned Star Wars, they should import the Namco Star Wars game which came out for the Famicom in 1987
