Electric Cigarettes

I got an electric cigarette. Honestly, it's pretty badass. :rock

Tadao Sep 9th, 2009 01:00 AM

Honestly?

Chojin Sep 9th, 2009 01:01 AM

what are those things? I've seen them before but didn't understand.

Fathom Zero Sep 9th, 2009 01:07 AM

It provides nicotine and the burning sensation without tar and evil smoke.

Evil Robot Sep 9th, 2009 09:03 PM

BULLSHIT You moron you bought a gutted mechanical pencil from a guy at the fair.

Julio Sep 9th, 2009 09:15 PM

Is that more friendly with people who is around?

LordSappington Sep 9th, 2009 09:36 PM

.... what?

The Leader Sep 9th, 2009 09:38 PM

He's wondering if it's better to use that instead of smoking cigs around other people. You know, second hand smoke and such.

LordSappington Sep 9th, 2009 09:42 PM

Oh. Ohhhhh.
I wonder if you can still burn a detainee's eye out with one.

Zhukov Sep 9th, 2009 09:45 PM

Why not just chew nicotine gum? Or fucking give up?

I saw a youtube video of some guy flogging them off for 100 US, and it looks pretty dumb, sort of like those elongated things that Cruella de Ville smokes out of. I suppose it's better than actual smoking.

He was breathing out something that at least looked like smoke, it may have been 'vapour'. It hasn't got all the chemicals in it, so it's most likely going to be better for people around you.

Otto Sep 9th, 2009 09:45 PM

I hope they're not as terrible as those smokeless cigarettes that R.J. Reynolds used to sell.

rabid-penguin Sep 9th, 2009 09:58 PM

Seen these things in the mall near me. Called "white cloud" or something, I believe they even have cigars. They light up blue instead of red, and I'm PRETTY sure they haven't fully legalized them yet.

Wiffles Sep 9th, 2009 10:01 PM

Im quite skeptical about these things. Im sure they dont burn smoke or get tar in your lungs but theres gotta be something radioactive or asbestos behind that thing =X

Skulhedface Sep 9th, 2009 10:16 PM

I think it's more for the people who do it as a habit without an actual nicotine addiction. The smoke in question, water vapor. Or I'm thinking of a different brand of fake cigarette.

Fathom Zero Sep 9th, 2009 10:31 PM

Yeah, I gotta agree. It looks more for the people that need an analogue for a cigarette, something to hold between their fingers.

Shyandquietguy Sep 10th, 2009 01:19 AM

Fuck your e-shit. Here's what you god damn need.

Dr. V Sep 10th, 2009 02:02 AM

I saw these at the L.A County fair a couple days ago. Some dude was explaining it to me and blew "vapor" in my face. I was like wtf? He's like "It's ok it's vapor." Keep your vapor outa my face!

Tadao Sep 10th, 2009 03:29 AM

You should have spit in his face and told him it's ok it'll turn to vapor in this heat.

Evil Robot Sep 10th, 2009 08:30 PM

Breathing in chemical laden vapor is probably worse than smoke.

Sam Sep 10th, 2009 09:05 PM

What about musical cigarettes?

rabid-penguin Sep 10th, 2009 09:47 PM

God, I was watching him demo one and he ALSO spit the vapor out into peoples faces, like they wouldn't care because it's "harmless"

Then I could start flailing around and crash backwards into the lady selling the beads that soak up water and keep your plants alive.

LordSappington Sep 11th, 2009 11:40 PM

Then you 'accidentally' swallow one and pretend that it's sucking up all of your fluids.
