10,000 Volt Ghost Sep 12th, 2009 11:55 AM

I've been trying to watch the Buffalo, NY episode of cops for 5 years and I finally saw it the other day. It was pretty outrageous though. They found a dead guy in lake Erie with full on rigor mortis set in. Also there was an unecessary helicopter chase.

Babs Sep 12th, 2009 08:00 PM

Down here in Columbus, there was some insane shoot out with cops which involved some man running around with an ak-47. But on to what I've been watching. Recently, I've been interested in East Bound and Down which is actually kind of hilarious.

10,000 Volt Ghost Sep 12th, 2009 08:39 PM

Watched my first episode of "Sons of Anarchy" and liked it. It was weird seeing Katey Segal getting raped by a white supremacist Henry Rollins though. :(

Aimless Sep 14th, 2009 11:25 AM

aww I love Rollins :(

I've had the second season of I'm Alan Partridge on my Ipod and I've watched it waaaaay too many times.

stevetothepast Sep 14th, 2009 11:42 AM

I DVR'ed Curb your enthusiasm last night, can't wait to watch it. Any other curb fans?

captain516 Sep 15th, 2009 12:19 AM

That reminds me, did that Seinfeld reunion happen yet?

stevetothepast Sep 16th, 2009 02:52 PM

I wasn't aware there was one.

Anybody ever see a little known canadian show called Adderly?

An ex special agent who got injured on the job, was demoted to "Miscellaneous Affairs", but all his old enemies, think he is up to something in this little known dept. Man oh man is it sweet.

shame there is only two seasons. :(

Kitsa Sep 16th, 2009 03:35 PM

That last season of TPB I watched was awful :( And it kills me to say that because I love them.

I was Bubbles a few years ago for Halloween. I still have the glasses somewhere.

Tadao Sep 16th, 2009 03:39 PM

I finally finished all of Heroes. YAY!

stevetothepast Sep 17th, 2009 11:12 AM

new TPB movie coming out soon. forget what its called(countdown to liquor day?)

I like a lot of the episodes but some of them are just not funny.

10,000 Volt Ghost Sep 17th, 2009 11:26 AM

Picked up "Always Sunny in Philadelphia" season 4. I was a bit wary about the first episode and thought it was a bit lacking. Then I saw the "The Gang Solves the Gas Crisis" and it reassured me of the greatness.

New season starts tonight!

FistfulOAwesome Sep 18th, 2009 02:28 AM

I just saw the line-up of shows on Thursday, and it's looking good.

Sunny is still great. I did feel like that the lawyer character was superfluous and Sweet Dee’s story should have gotten more time (by getting rid of the lawyer), but it’s still great. I was actually smiling at the ending. They are horrible people, but they’re also a family (as gay as that makes me sound).

Community is immediately great. Can’t really say much other than that (without getting a rant worthy post). Although, that chick really does look like Elizabeth Shue (which is alright, since I’d nail Shue so hard that she’d feel crippled).

Parks & Recreation didn’t do bad. I actually stopped watching the first season halfway through, but I always give any show that’s not terrible a second chance. Definitely a decent opener. Could have used more CK though.

The Office pulled through, as always.

Archer is alright. It’s a first episode so you can’t judge it too much, but I was entertained so I’ll check it out when it starts it’s run in January. Definitely had the same type of humor as Frisky Dingo (though not as refined (but of course, first episode).

Overall, Thursdays are going to be the one night to definitely stick in front of the TV.

Sam Sep 27th, 2009 08:34 PM

I saw this show called Bored to Death and it was pretty funny. :(

Esuohlim Sep 27th, 2009 09:50 PM

I SAW THIS SHOW CALLED "PRETTY FUNNY" AND I WAS BORED TO DEATH :x

Babs Sep 28th, 2009 02:01 AM

So the new US Office season 6 has being airing about since last week and I've been waiting for awhile for it to come back on. Also, It's Alaways Sunny started back up on the same date but haven't been able to catch it yet :(

On a really good note, the ENG Office is airing soon on adult swim soon so... something more to look forward too.

MarioRPG Sep 28th, 2009 11:42 AM

Loved the season premiere of Dexter! :)

Kitsa Sep 28th, 2009 03:25 PM

I'm afraid we're going to be experiencing Office Oversaturation pretty quickly. New season, several channels doing syndication, and then the original airing on adult swim like it's brand-new or something.

:(

10,000 Volt Ghost Oct 12th, 2009 09:09 AM

Nick Swardson had a new stand up performance on comedy central last night which was really funny. Definitely worth a watch.

Kitsa Oct 14th, 2009 02:30 PM

I've been watching good old One Foot in the Grave when it comes on. My main problem with that show is that the funny parts are really funny, but then they always have to go and make it depressing. It's worse than M*A*S*H that way.

I mean, how many shows end when the main character gets hit by a car and dies?

stevetothepast Oct 15th, 2009 05:59 PM

ya I like this show.

Ted Danson is looking like the damn grim reaper these days though.

Esuohlim Oct 15th, 2009 11:32 PM

I bought all four seasons of Home Movies recently. I haven't watched it in years and it's funnier than I remember.

Season 2 of The Wire is finished. I liked Season 1 better, but everyone does on the first viewing of the series anyway. There's a lot going on and my main focus is trying to pay attention to everything since I'm never entirely sure what I should be paying extra attention to in the first place.

Skayde Oct 16th, 2009 04:25 PM

I just finished Season 1 of The Sopranos. I know i'm a dollar short on that one, but I am still pretty fascinated by the story and can't wait to start on Season 2.

Just got Dexter. Heard mixed things for this show though, anyone got anything to say about it?

Ant10708 Oct 18th, 2009 12:41 AM

Not sure if this is a television show or a direct to dvd anime show but I began watching Afro Samurai and its crazy violent and a good watch.

darkvare Oct 18th, 2009 01:28 PM

is a mini series they made a movie but it wasn't as good as the show

Skayde Oct 18th, 2009 02:03 PM

The game was pretty lame too.

10,000 Volt Ghost Nov 9th, 2009 10:43 AM

Just started watching The League on FX. Sitcom about guys who play fantasy football and how it affects their lives. It's pretty funny.

I was watching season six of the simpsons and forgot how many great amazing lines came out of Lemon of Troy. It's between that episode and Monorail for tops. "There's a doins a transpiring."

Tadao Nov 10th, 2009 02:16 PM

I'm almost caught up on Dexter.

Dimnos Nov 10th, 2009 02:19 PM

OH yeah? Where are you at T?

Tadao Nov 10th, 2009 02:23 PM

season 4 ep 5

AKA 405

Dimnos Nov 10th, 2009 02:28 PM

oh so you are only 2 behind. You can torrent them if you dont have anywhere else to watch them. That is what I have done for all of season 4.

Tadao Nov 10th, 2009 02:58 PM

Yeah, I've torrented the whole thing :lol

10,000 Volt Ghost Dec 5th, 2009 05:45 PM

Going home to watch the Ultimate Fighter finale. I guess Kimbo is going to fight someone random. Darknesssssss is going to whoop on someone. There was supposed to be a matchup between Rampage Jackson and Rashaad but I've heard its cancelled.

Esuohlim Dec 5th, 2009 06:08 PM

Season 4 of the Wire is amazing.

All other TV shows are complete shit in comparison.

Also I bought the complete Farscape on Amazon the other day since it's on sale for $58 marked down from $150. ;_;

Lord Lonic Dec 5th, 2009 10:29 PM

The best TV show ever created is One Piece. I don't think I can name any other show that comes as close to being awesome and badass as One Piece.

Esuohlim Dec 5th, 2009 10:42 PM

I had no idea what that was so I looked it up.

I should ban you for tricking me into looking at anime

Lord Lonic Dec 5th, 2009 10:45 PM

Whats wrong baby cant take teh kawaii desu??

executioneer Dec 6th, 2009 06:25 AM

anime is for nerds, we hate nerds here

Lord Lonic Dec 6th, 2009 01:48 PM

Actually I really don't like anime. As a matter of fact I hate Japan and almost everything from it. They're all a bunch of bucktoothed faggots with Asperger's who masturbate to child pornography and their women, who because of their tiny tits, consume feces all day long as they can't show off their manish "breasts" without getting "eeeeeewwwwws" anyway. Sick, sick, sick country.

I only like One Piece because it's pirates. I like anything pirates no matter how faggy it is. Hell I thought Pirates of the Carribean 3 was the second best movie of this decade.

Esuohlim Dec 6th, 2009 02:26 PM

Shut it

Lord Lonic Dec 6th, 2009 03:27 PM

kay

Tadao Dec 6th, 2009 03:37 PM

That's super guy.

Dimnos Dec 14th, 2009 03:51 PM

Season finally of Dexter. OMFG!!! :eek

Tadao Dec 14th, 2009 04:08 PM

shit, i need to catch up again :lol

10,000 Volt Ghost Dec 14th, 2009 05:31 PM

I still haven't seen dexter but I've heard from a lot of people that the finale was awesome.

BatmanJohnson Dec 14th, 2009 08:27 PM

The Dexter finale was amazing!

Ant10708 Dec 14th, 2009 08:44 PM

indeed it was

Womti Dec 20th, 2009 01:27 AM

hey guys I just got the ghost in the shell stand alone complex complete collection it is a 7-disc set ;)

10,000 Volt Ghost Dec 20th, 2009 02:49 AM

I have a hard on for Ghost in the shell.

Dmnos, I was at a bar tonight and they were laying Rudolph the red nosed reindeer and they showed your lion with a crown....so I shouted DIMNOS IS FUCKING AWESOME!!!!!!

Fuck those who didn't get it.

Babs Dec 20th, 2009 06:16 AM

So we're playing favorites now?

Do you have a house to watch it in

10,000 Volt Ghost Dec 24th, 2009 01:05 PM

My roommate got me the christmas episode of Always Sunny in Philadelphia. It's really funny but normally wouldn't warrant it being sold by itself. Around an hour long and the laughs are all there. "Well, I hide in the couch all the time. I usually catch Charlie pounding off."

It's around $25 which kind of sucks. Perfect to give or get as a gift though.

10,000 Volt Ghost Dec 31st, 2009 07:38 PM

3 Stooges marathon on AMC.

captain516 Jan 6th, 2010 11:45 PM

I've been watching reruns of My Name Is Earl for a while now, and I like it. The characters are pretty funny.

Pentegarn Jan 8th, 2010 12:43 AM

I have been too captain. They are amusing. I laugh at Earl's Brother a lot

Kitsa Jan 9th, 2010 03:22 PM

I think Jason Lee and Ethan Suplee are great. Loved the show in general, except for the "coma" episodes, which really dragged along for me.

MarioRPG Jan 10th, 2010 02:25 PM

Yeah, I'm actually surprised by that show. It can be genuinely funny, for the episodes I've caught anyway.

robo_rob Jan 12th, 2010 08:31 PM

I've been watching Lost Tapes lately on Animal Planet. It's pretty fun in a SyFy original movie kind of way.

Tadao Jan 12th, 2010 08:34 PM

WTH is Lost Tapes?

robo_rob Jan 12th, 2010 08:55 PM

It's basically a show about monsters/cryptozoology. The episode will be parts 'found video of encounter' similar to Blair Witch or Cloverfield and parts scientific research about the monster/creature.

Tadao Jan 12th, 2010 08:57 PM

All fake though? That's kinda wierd for Animal Planet. I guess they need viewers :lol

robo_rob Jan 12th, 2010 09:01 PM

Yeah completely fake, to the point where you have to wonder who is holding the camera at times.

It's really weird for Animal Planet, they've even done alien and vampire episodes. If this is the direction their going in, I can't wait for the Animal Cops episode where they have to free a werewolf from Dracula.

10,000 Volt Ghost Jan 13th, 2010 11:17 AM

I can't stop watching Jersey Shore. I want to drop an ammo crate on all of them.

bigtimecow Jan 13th, 2010 11:41 AM

parks and recreation. this show blows the office out of the water, at least the office recently. nick offerman as ron fucking swanson is hilarious, and aziz ansari's character tom is great as well

"this is some professional-ass art right here"

"on a scale from 1 to chris brown, how pissed is he"

ron: "your secret's safe with me"
tom: "thanks ronaleeza rice"

10,000 Volt Ghost Jan 13th, 2010 02:03 PM

I really don't like Aziz Ansari because his stand up wasn't funny but he's popping up everywhere now so I might as well get used to him. :(

Esuohlim Jan 13th, 2010 05:36 PM

Aziz Ansari is fly yo, I dig him

Phoenix Gamma Jan 13th, 2010 06:08 PM

I'm bummed that Conan isn't on the air anymore. Now Letterman is the only decent talk show. Fucking Leno >:

robo_rob Jan 13th, 2010 06:15 PM

I don't really watch the late night talk shows anymore, but yeah, that's a bum deal they gave Conan. Because Jay Leno's show tanks, his has to suffer? WTF

Tadao Jan 13th, 2010 06:17 PM

Come on guys, networks need to make money. It's how businesses work. Maybe Conan can move to the internet or something.

bigtimecow Jan 13th, 2010 06:39 PM

wait, it's official, he's gone? what the fuck

Tadao Jan 13th, 2010 06:41 PM

Not officially, but he said if they move his time slot to 12:00 he is not gonna be apart of it.

He opened for Stella and went on this long winded joke about "Hey, does it seem like sometimes movie characters know they IN the movie??? Like, in Ghostbusters II why do they have the Ghost with TWO fingers up on the car??? Do they know they are in the sequel???"

I kinda yelled "Because its the ECTO II. You know, the second vehicle they made....a better vehicle."

He got pissed so we're not on speaking terms.

I bought the Sopranos complete boxset recently and watched all six seasons. Could be the best TV-show I have seen.

bigtimecow Jan 14th, 2010 07:42 PM

also just discovered community and this show is, as well, hilarious

also archer premieres tonight. i don't know anything about the show other than the fact that jon benjamin does the main characters voice, but that's enough to make me interested

executioneer Jan 14th, 2010 08:18 PM

the guy who turned sealab to shit is responsible for it

fucking pass

King Hadas Jan 14th, 2010 08:57 PM

I saw Martin Short in an episode of Law & Order: SVU and he was damn good. I always get a thrill of satisfaction whenever I see an actor succeeding outside of their usual genres.

Its made by some of the Frisky Dingo staff and is serving as spiritual sucessor.

edit: re-checked facts.

Phoenix Gamma Jan 15th, 2010 11:51 AM

So I guess technically Conan's still on the air til' the 22nd. Leno wants to take his show back. Now all this shit is coming out about Leno having an in for Conan for awhile now, and Jimmy Kimmel (who's kind of a jerk too) totally tore Leno a new asshole on Leno's own show.

http://tv.gawker.com/5448615/late-ni...ll-going-rogue
(second video for the Kimmel/Leno bit)

Now Howard Stern is saying he might go on the Tonight Show and stir shit up. Regardless about how anyone feels about Stern, he's sure to liven things up.

Which is great, because this week, Conan is doing whatever the fuck he wants because he's probably going to get fired/quit next Friday anyways. It's hilarious.

http://tv.yahoo.com/news/article/tv-..._leno_o_brien;

10,000 Volt Ghost Jan 20th, 2010 11:14 AM

In the last week I've gotten into watching True Blood, Entourage and Bad Girls Club.

Bad Girls Club I'm especially hooked into because its just a bunch of drunk girls that go drinking. No voting off each week, special challenges or non-sense. They just go get hammered and act like total bitches.

Also watched an episode of Days of our lives. GF tried to explain to me who people were and why they were doing the things and it seemed really convulated but I understood it. She said "It's a lot to take in."

Then I explained to her how how Nate Grey is the grand-son from an alternate reality of the guy from the Starjammers.

Esuohlim Jan 20th, 2010 12:17 PM

I watched the first four episodes of Entourage and I hated it. The humor is not only unfunny it's also obnoxious, and Turtle is such a bro it makes me sick.

10,000 Volt Ghost Jan 20th, 2010 04:12 PM

Turtle is Pro Bro. Yeah, it's okay. Jeremy Piven is funny and REZ playing Mark Wahlburg is kinda funny.

Sam Jan 20th, 2010 04:14 PM

Jeremy Piven is the only good thing about Entourage. :(

I saw a snippet of that in a hotel room, it made me want to suicide bomb Viacom

bigtimecow Jan 21st, 2010 03:30 PM

i haven't seen community from the start, only like episode 9 and on i think. it's damn funny now though
