Yeah, but the American economy has moved very much towards being a "part-time economy." Part-time, low benefits employers are now among the biggest job providers in the country.
A lot of people indeed DO have to work at Wal-mart, whether it be the need for a second income in the house to pay bills, or something else. Nobody really
wants to be a lifer at a place like this, but many have absolutely no choice.
