China currently has us over the strategic barrel (becuase we need them to keep N. Korea in some kind of chck) and this crap about the Dalai should be taken seriously, but only as a test of what kind of results they get.

Expect us to not take them seriously.

Expect them to make some sort of punitive gesture during the six country talks.
