I lived in Vancouver most of my youth and the sky hangs gray and it rains and rains, it's so fucking depressing. It's easy to fall into a funk and what I did was ride my bike all over the city (kinda like Forest gump) and it helped to clear the mind and as a bonus you get a free wet ass.
