Ever heard of Can? They were a German pyscedelic band from the 70's, that was sorta inspired by the Velvet Underground, but not too much. I reccomend Tago Mago by them, if you're into addictive drum beats and insane vocal performances. If you're looking for a certain son, download the 18 minute halleluwah.
By the way, rumor is that Can stands for Cannibalism Anarchism Nihilism.
