Update: Yes, branch is no longer dangling, but is on the ground. The branch itself is probably 45-50 feet long; much bigger than i thought. Anyway, it seriously missed our house by a foot. The tips of the branches are scraping our windows. Another 3 feet over and the right side of the living room would've been gone. Only the small evergreen tree got totally pwned.
But no property damage.
Now I have to cut this motherfucker up with an ax blade as sharp as a spoon. Or my Mom will call the tree service people. :/
