A ninja pirate is a captain of a frigate who plunders other ships and also knows karate and uses throwing stars. A pirate ninja is a guy from Japan wearing black pajamas and who uses throwing stars but also enjoys plundering ships.
This thread reminded me of my wonderful idea for a movie: The story is about the eternal struggle of robots vs. vampires. Except the vampires are the good guys and the robots are the bad guys, and the vampires are always planning how they can defeat a foe with no blood or skin, and the hero who emerges can live by drinking motor oil.
