Old-fashioned move: Holding a door open for a lady, allowing her to enter before you.
Response in old-fashioned times: "I am flattered by your courtesy toward me, and admire your gentlemanly behavior."
Response today: "You just think of me as a poor weak girl who can't even open a door? Or maybe you just want me to walk in front of you so you can check out my ass. Which I want you to do anyway, but it still makes you a pervert."
