Jack Black as a movie star is nothing more than a new-wave pauly shore.

Jack Black as his natural self, is very funny in a natural way. I laugh more at his interviews promoting his movies than I do his movies. And the Tenacious D HBO episodes are very funny. I think Tenacious D is overrated.

EDIT: The new SNL was horrible, too. Amy Poehler as Shelly Long was the only funny thing in it.
