I do the same thing, Ninjavenom. I write down a lot of phrases, or band names that pop into my head, and I keep them all in a notebook. Some of them make it into my poetry (I've not written any poetry in over a year though) and others will be used in a couple stories I have planned. If nothing else, they sound cool and they're good for sparking creative ideas.
