I agree entirely with what FS said, but I was also annoyed at the supposedly drunk dialogue. I thought that the setting of this story was a hundred or so years ago, right up until I read the part where the yobs enter the protagonist's trailer and notice his copy of TV Guide lying on the table.

Show me one hick who would make a speech like that while drunk and in the middle of a crowded bar and I'll... show you something equally difficult to find.
