That's not entirely acurate. The two main reasons they stopped making it are: They kept having problems transfering the game into 3D; and Nintendo had a whole new system coming out the next year (Gamecube). They knew as well as we do that there are
millions of people wanting to see a Mother 3--they just never got around to it.
