Don't do something from a movie. Movie dialogue is written for movies, a very different medium from the stage.

Try Eric Bogosian, which are monologues already, or Sam Sheppard, who's characters often have lengthy monologues. If you can find a collection of his short early plays in the library, La Tourista has a monologue that is totally insane. If not, "Buried Child" and "Curse of the Starving Class" both ofer excellent stories length monologues.
