www.edgeemu.com has the roms already patched with translations. You want the games that say something like Final Fantasy V (J) [T+Eng] and such. The ones with [h] at the end are rom hacks, so don't download those.
You have to register, and be prepared for A LOT of popups. But for the few moments it takes to get them, it shouldn't be too bad. I can't verify if the patches are any good are not, as far as quality goes.
