Alan Moore evidently does not care what happens to the movies based on his work. I've heard that once he sells the rights, he figures it's in someone else's hands and he doesn't interfere nor care. I don't think he's watched the film versions of any of his movies. In interviews he's indicated a complete lack of interest in them.
