It's a British sitcom about two people sharing a flat. It sounds boring and cliché, but it's really, really great. It's absolutely crammed full of movie and comic book references, so it's one for the geeks.
I've also heard that the military freak friend and Simon Pegg are working on a new sitcom about rival pub quiz teams.
