sounds like you don't feel like you have anything to look forward to
you need to adjust the way you think about life at a fundamental level. don't worry so much about the things you can't control. work on the things that you can.
but none of that is probably anything new, so whatever.
and fuck, for all you know there IS an afterlife and it really SUCKS. so much that all you do is sit around listening to people bitch about how great life was and how much the afterlife just isn't as cool as life was.
