The Greeks, who were debating this very topic whilst your ancestors were busy splattering their feces against rocks for general amusement (a proud tradition you seem to honour through mimicry on this board), decided the two were dichotomous. Much as we need light to discover the darkness and passion (which, in truth, is actually closer to pain than pleasure) to reveal devotion, we need experience to temper logic, and logic to dictate experience.
