I don't read this board because I like it anymore. I read it because it something to do and it's literally addicting.

I'll re-iterate for the millionith time that there needs to be some sort of quality control filter on the board. I again recommend we ban people. But whatever, that's not going to happen, even though I don't understand why.

As for the site itself, I joined 'back in the day' when it was an entirely different beast. Before it was mockery, now it's 'wacky' nostalgia. So, yeah, I don't get how or why that happened, but I have no say in the matter and Roger's always going to run the site however he alone sees fit. Which I guess is admirable in itself, even if it's resulted in turning this into more of a giant blog than a humor site.

Somethingawful is a lot more like what this site used to be, and their forums are a lot more up my alley. I only wish I'd gone that route instead of this from day one, but I'm here now. Whether I stay or go is largely dependant on whether or not I have anything else to do.

I remain thankful for the friends I've met and made here.
