4 didn't live up to the rest of the series, I agree, but it didn't suck. I still like the 2D Metal Slug action even if it was just a quick rehash by Playmore. It sure didn't have much in the ways of new impressive animation or anything like that. The last true SNK metal slug was part 3 and it is the best.
