It could be construed either way, I guess. Say, for instance, your were to type "A

". That would bring you to a place in the A drive where you can then access the root directory in A. To get back to the C drive, however, you would then have to type "C

". That's the way I took his meaning. Of course, when you access the DOS, it does start at the "C

" prompt, so it could be construed that way as well.
