The bank gives them a braille pamphlet with their account which explains the steps of the transaction in sequence and where the correct buttons are located (and/or how they're labeled) and the blind person basically has to memorize the transaction beforehand ... or, as previously mentioned, they bring along a family member, friend or caretaker. Most states offer limited assistance for basic needs like this.
