If not moreso. Think of it. We have the classic example of the Crusades (which are, IMO, the stupidest thing in human history), the Civil War in Ireland, and every problem we have with Iraq and Afghanistan. We may not be fighting for religion, but THEY certainly are. I think that religion is more of a cause of evil and pain than it is a help.
