Yeah, but at least it's a way to test the waters for one issue. Then if people say they don't mind the black and white, you can resume your regularly scheduled artwork and writing, while remaining colorless.

But still, I agree I'd prefer to keep it in color. You'll lose a lot by not having that, as there is a surprising amount of humor that would be lost without the color there.
