If you want a decent full-colour copy, you have to go 1:1 rather than shrink the image or compress the quality. There's a really good chance that anyone who wants a game manual is going to print it out, too, especially since most of them are only about a dozen pages. I've experienced the horrors of printing small text at 75dpi.
