In Soviet Canada, there is about a month to a month and a half of campaigning. The way it works is after 4 or 5 years in office, the PM will call an election. The election is about a month to a month and a half after he calls it. Therefore, there is about a month to a month and a half of campaigning, not 9 months like in America.
