Well, I don't know what to tell you. When I do combos, even the Bane ones, they are interrupted by other enemies. When I block/parry, it's only good for one or two attacks, and then between the time it's over, and the time it takes to block again, I get knocked down. So in any battles where I'm dealing with more than 2 or 3 enemies at a time, I'm going to take a lot of damage. Especially when it's a mix of shielded and unshielded enemies.

I also just tried the first Helm's Deep mission. That's really a fucking pain in the ass.

It's just a surprisingly hard game, and it's not really fun when I keep dying 3 times every mission. Maybe I just suck at it, that's fine. But this is the first game I've played in years I've considered to be overly difficult. I might try and see if I can exchange it for something else, or just plain return it. I got it at Wal-Mart, and if I send my mom to take care of it, they might be lenient enough to do it.

At first I thought it was worth the $20. Then I thought it was worth a rental. Now, it's just not worth the frustration.
